There are also very few parking spaces in the surrounding area. We therefore recommend your using public transportation. From Berlin Hauptbahnhof Take the S 5 S-Bahn line (towards Strausberg/Strausberg Nord), the S 7 (towards Ahrensfelde) or the S 75 (towards Wartenberg) or travel two stops to Hackescher Markt S-Bahn station (travel time approx. 5 minutes). Disembark from the rear end of the train and leave the station by turning left at the bottom of the staircase. Walk parallel to the S Bahn line until you reach Kleine Präsidenten Straße. Turn right into the road. After a few steps you will have reached Monbijouplatz. The offices of the Deutsches Studentenwerk are on the left side of the road at Monbijouplatz 11. From Friedrichstraße station A 15-minute walk, or one stop on the S-Bahn (lines and directions the same as if you were coming from Berlin Hauptbahnhof). From Ostbahnhof Take the S 5 S-Bahn line (towards Spandau), the S 75 (towards Westkreuz) or the S 7 (towards Potsdam Hauptbahnhof) to Hackescher Markt S-Bahn station (three stops, travel time approx. 12 minutes). Disembark from the front end of the train then continue on foot as described above. From Tegel Airport Take the TXL or X9 airport buses to Hauptbahnhof. Continue as described above.
