TSICET – 2021 (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test for MBA and MCA) Conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on Behalf of TSCHE, Hyderabad TSICET – 2021 (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test for MBA and MCA) Conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of TSCHE, Hyderabad WEB NOTIFICATION Applications are invited from desirable candidates for appearing at the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET-2021) for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA)/ Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Degree Course (Full Time/Part-Time/Evening/Distance Mode/ DOL) offered by the Universities listed bellow in the State of Telangana including their affiliated colleges for the academic year 2021-22 to be conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal (as per G.O. Ms No. 25, dated: 19.3.2004; G.O.Ms.No.108 dated 30-7-2005; G.O.Ms. No. 66, dated 15-7-2011; G.O.Ms. No.5, dated 2-8-2014; G.O.Ms. No.7, dated 5-8-2014; G.O.Ms. No.33 dated 31-12-2014 and it amendments and G.O. Ms. No. 22, dated 27.07.2019 of Higher Education Department of Telangana State of Higher Education Department and its amendments) in the following Universities and their affiliated colleges offering MBA / MCA Programmes. 1. Prof. Jayashankar Agricultural University (PJAU), Hyderabad. 2. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University (Dr. BRAOU), Hyderabad. 3. JNT University, Hyderabad (JNTU-H), Hyderabad. 4. Osmania University (OU), Hyderabad. 5. Kakatiya University (KU), Warangal. 6. Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Nalgonda. 7. Palamuru University (PU), Mahbubnagar. 8. Satavahana University (SU), Karimnagar. 9. Telangana University (TU), Nizamabad. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO APPEAR FOR TSICET - 2021 a) The candidates should be an Indian National and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in as per G.O. Ms No. 25, dated: 19.3.2004; G.O.Ms.No.108 dated 30-7-2005; G.O.Ms. No.66, dated 15-7-2011; G.O.Ms. No.5, dated 2-8-2014; G.O.Ms. No.7, dated 5-8-2014; G.O.Ms. No.33 dated 31-12-2014 and it amendments and G.O. Ms. No. 22, dated 27.07.2019 of Higher Education Department of Telangana State of Higher Education Department and its amendments. b) The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned. c) The candidates seeking admission in to: i) Master of Business Administration (MBA): Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree (BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA/BBM/BCA/ BE / B. Tech/ B. Pharmacy/ Any 3 or 4 year Degree except Oriental Languages). Examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved (SC and ST) categories) in the qualifying examination. ii) Master of Computer Applications (MCA): Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved (SC and ST) categories) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level. iii) The qualifying Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program/ Open Distance Learning (ODL) should have recognition by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB as per UGC Regulations of 2013. d) The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for TSICET-2021 e) Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies. f) Qualifying marks in TSICET-2021 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates. Mere qualifying in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate for being admitted into MBA/MCA course unless the candidate: . Appears for Counseling at the notified Centers. Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part-time\evening\distance mode). Satisfies all the eligibility criteria for admission as stipulated by the authority concerned. SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATIONS TSICET-2021 Applications should be submitted through ONLINE mode only. The Registration fee for online submission and late fee, if applicable, may be paid at TS Online /AP Online Centres in TS and AP, and also through payment gateway (Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking). ` 650/- ONLINE APPLICATION FEE: ` 450/- in case of SC/ST and Differently Abled Candidates IMPORTANT DATES FOR ONLINE SUBMISSION Date of Commencement of Submission of Online Applications: 07-04-2021 Last date for Submission of Online Applications Without Late Fee : 15-06-2021 With a Late fee of ` 250- : 30-06-2021 With a Late fee of ` 500/- : 15-07-2021 With a Late fee of ` 1000/- : 11-08-2021 DATE AND TIME OF TSICET-2021 EXAMINATION (FN) 10.00 A.M. to 12.30 P.M. Most of the faculties under-go Faculty Development Programs (FDP’s) to hone their skills. For an academician an inclination towards undertaking research activities and publications augurs well not only for him but also contributes to the enrichment of social work education and also leads to indigenization of social work knowledge. A study has been conducted on 45 social work faculty members in the state of Telangana by administering a questionnaire to assess their responses regarding the research and publication activities and it is found that on the research and publications front the interest, time spent and achievements of faculty members is quite dismal .In the interest of social work education the faculty members have to reorient themselves and have to focus on research and publications and implications are drawn for faculty development in this regard.
