It took us 4 hours to drive and watch the shows. This may be more than most families can take on in one night. Don’t feel like you have to hit every single on. Pick the ones that your family will enjoy the most and make sure you take a lot of snacks!!! Other Neighborhood Lights Display Arbor Landing Holiday Lights (Neighborhood) West Mur-len and 162nd Street, Olathe, KS 66062 Once you turn into the neighborhood take the 2nd right to loop around the neighborhood. There is probably more houses that decorate in this neighborhood than Christmas Place on Antioch but it isn’t quite as impressive since it is not every house. It is still worth going if you want a lot of decorated house in one location. Christmas Card Lane (Neighborhood) West of Ridgeview and North of 151st Street Olathe, KS 66062 To go around the outside of the neighborhood: Take a left onto E. Frontier Lane. Take a right onto E. Sleepy Hollow Dr. Left onto E Butterfield Place---This neighborhood isn’t as impressive as the other neighborhoods. Several of the houses do have a strong Christian theme. If you are in the neighborhood might be worth a quick drive through. Notes Only a handful of times have we done the tour in one night. This is possible when we start at 5:00 pm so we can be done at 9:00pm. Most years we have broken it up into 2-3 fun filled nights. These are our tried-and-true favorites. Feel free to insert or replace ours with your must-see light displays as you tour the city. To make the night extra special bring snacks and fun drinks. We start the night with a to go supper like meat, cheese and crackers. After each stop, we bring out the next round of snacks. We try to mix in fun, special snacks with healthy ones. Water is a must but it is also important to have an extra special drink too. Johnson County Christmas Display This is my go-to resource from year to year to get updates on our previous favorite light displays. They give you a heads up on which ones are back and which ones are no longer available. They also give you a map of different areas– of the city and what displays are worth seeing. This would be a great resource if you just want to see lights that are right around your home.
