It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Celebrate every magical moment in Michigan where the sights, sounds and flavors of the season abound!

Day 1

Arrive at Meadow Brook Hall just in time for lunch. Then stretch your legs with a tour of the Great Estate, where the holidays shine a little brighter!

For nearly 50 years, Holiday Walk at Meadow Brook Hall has offered self-guided touring through its elegant rooms.

The Hall is decked out in holiday splendor with over 50 dazzling trees on display, including a 10-foot tall poinsettia tree in the sun porch, created by 50 live plants! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nG4KdjPvOz0 After an early dinner, it’s time for merrymaking at Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village, home to seven historic districts immersing guests in the sights, sounds and sensations of 300 years of American life.

Your evening will overflow with carolers and live musical performances, visits to decorated homes and shops, holiday vignettes presented in period attire, holiday cooking demonstrations, a fireworks finale and more.

We overnight at the Best Western Greenfield Inn, Allen Park, with its distinctive Victorian architecture, old world charm and modern conveniences

Day 2

We enjoy a leisurely breakfast on our own at Mugly’s Food & Spirits at the Greenfield Inn.

Then it’s off to Owosso where we tour Curwood Castle.

Right nearby is the Shiawassee Arts Center where we enjoy a catered lunch and exhibits.

There’s even time to shop the arts center’s 2019 Holiday Show for one- of-a-kind gifts for yourself or someone you love! Your thoughts turn to the magical indoor and outdoor lighted displays and over 50,000 trims and gifts that await you at Bronner’s CHRISTmas Wonderland, the World’s Largest Christmas Store in Frankenmuth.

You arrive mid-afternoon and find yourself singing along to favorite holiday tunes as you shop 1.7 football fields of traditional, toyland and religious-themed décor.

Return to Bronner’s where your group visits the Silent Night Memorial Chapel and joins together in singing the world’s favorite .

Drive down Bronner’s half-mile Christmas Lane and throughout downtown Frankenmuth to enjoy the multitude of and displays before settling in for the night. Day 3

After breakfast we enjoy a self-guided morning tour through the historic St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.

The stunning architecture and interior, beautifully decorated for the Christmas season, is a feast for the eyes.

Stroll festively decorated downtown Frankenmuth for a little shopping and lunch on your own.

Head north for Thunder Bay Resort near Hillman. Get settled in your room before heading out for a carriage or sleigh ride to see majestic elk and enjoy a gourmet dinner at Elk Antler Log Cabin.

This is a unique experience and was voted by the American Bus Association the ‘Best of the Best’ awards in adventure attractions.

Day 4

Depart Thunder Bay Resort for a winter Canopy Walk in Whiting Forest at Dow Gardens. Did you know this is the longest tree canopy walk in the country?

At times you will be suspended four stories above the canopy forest!

It’s an amazing and beautiful experience. After lunch it’s time to make a to

give this year at Painterly Pottery in Bay City.

Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad near Flint take us back in time to the late1800s.

We take in ALL the festivities at Christmas at Crossroads Holiday Magic: costumed villagers, live entertainment, model trains, craft demonstrations, a buffet dinner, shopping, amusement rides and a melodrama at the Colwell Opera House.

It’s “All Aboard” the Huckleberry Railroad for a 40-minute ride past a multitude of lighted displays!

We overnight at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Grand Blanc. Come as guests and leave as friends.
