How China will use cyber warfare to leapfrog in military competitiveness Abstract Extract: The eP ople’s Republic of China (PRC) may be a global power economically but its military lacks force projection beyond the Asia Pacific er gion. Its traditional military hardware is one to three generations behind the US and Russia. In light of these deficiencies it is probable that cyber warfare will provide China with an asymmetric advantage to deter aggression from stronger military powers as they catch up in traditional military capabilities. Cyber warfare would also allow China to leapfrog by means of technology transfer and exploiting adversary weaknesses.

13 http://onfaith.washingtonpost.com/onfaith/panelists/willis_e_elliott/2007/09/the_tipping_point_to_peace.html The Tipping Point to Peace ON FAITH - WASHINGTON POST - WILLLIS ELLIOTT On this anniversary of 9/11, this is what I have to say to religious extremists who believe that violence advances their religion’s cause. 1. Because I, like you, am strongly religious, and strongly at odds with much that passes as acceptable behavior in my society and in the wider world, I feel a kinship with you. If we were to have a conversation, we would probably both learn something useful. This is an invitation. 2. What I would not learn from you—what I would not listen to you on—is how-where-when to use violence in advancing my cause. The Bible and the Qur’an preach persuasion for the advance of religion, and condemn violence as a means of promoting one’s religion or demoting the religion of another. In religion, violence is not power; it is the unwitting admission of rhetorical weakness. 3. I would listen in hope of hearing your deepest voice, the voice of your hurting and caring and loving and hoping. And if I could help you hear my deepest voice, we just might hearken together to a third Voice—the Voice always calling us to hear that we are brothers and have work to do together for the glory of God and the good of humanity and of the good earth. 4. Finally, as a Christian, I would want to remind you thatJesus chose to suffer violence rather than to become violent--and he did not lose out for his choice.

  • Scientology: CRIMINAL TIME TRACK ISSUE I by Mike Mcclaughry 1999
Scientology: CRIMINAL TIME TRACK ISSUE I by Mike McClaughry 1999 The following is a Time Track that I put together for myself and some friends at the time, in 1999. I originally used the pseudonym “Theta” at the request of Greg Barnes until he was ready to “go public” with his defection from Scientology. I also used the pseudonym “Theta 8-8008” around this same time period. Bernd Luebeck, Ex-Guardian’s Office Intelligence and then Ron’s Org staff ran the website www.freezone.org. In 1999, just after my time track was released privately, Bernd used it on his website as-is. He later expanded on my original time track with items of interest to himself. Prior to my doing this time track, Bernd, (nor anyone else involved with Scientology on the internet), had ever thought of the idea to do things this way in relation to Scientology. Mike McClaughry BEGIN An open letter to all Scientologists: Greetings and by way of introduction, I am a Class 8, OT 8, who has been in the Church for many decades and I am in good standing with the Church. I am a lover of LRH’s technology and that is my motivation in writing you and in doing what I am now doing. It came to my attention, sometime in the not too distant past, that the current top management of the Church, particularly David Miscavige, is off source. One of the ways he is off-source is that he has made the same mistake as the old Guardian’s Office staff made, engaging in criminal activities to solve problems.

  • Destruction Is in Its DNA the Church of Scientology Is Imploding at What
Scientology: Destruction Is In Its DNA The Church of Scientology is imploding at what any outside spectator would call an alarming rate. While its leader, David Miscavige, stands before enthralled devotees several times a year claiming highest-ever membership figures and off-the-top production figures, the truth from inside is quite the opposite. Since the late 1960s, Scientology has claimed membership in the millions. Yet those un-named millions have never been tallied from any official membership rolls nor validated in any way. In fact, it's been reported by those who were actually there that the reports of "millions of members" were literally created out of thin air as nothing but PR fluff to satisfy some demanding senior Scientology executive who wouldn't settle for anything less. While the Church may lie to its public and the world in general, inside the organization they keep tight tally every single week of how many parishioners are actually attending services in every one of their organizations as well as how many attendees they have at their yearly event gatherings. And insiders have reported that these figures are an ever dwindling spiral, now down to as low as 25 - 30,000 worldwide. Included in those figures are those who actually work for the organizations as well, meaning that public membership could be as low as 20,000. One recent credible source even estimates it as low as 10,000. L. Ron Hubbard wrote many volumes of policies governing the purposes and activities of every single part of the organization, from its highest management echelons down to how cleaning personnel are to wash windows.
