YOUR MC – ANGELA PIPPOS – ”always entertaining” Everything Angela Pippos does she does with passion and flair. Whether in front of the camera, a radio microphone or a live audience, Angela is always entertaining. The petite and lively Pippos left her native South Australia in 1997 to pursue a sports journalism career in Melbourne. To lessen the blow on her parents she said she'd only be gone for a year. 15 years later Angela is still in Melbourne and feeling more inspired than ever. GREG CHAMPION – “...singer, songwriter, comedian” Greg Champion is an Australian songwriter, guitarist, radio per-sonality and athlete. Born in Benalla, Victoria, Champion is most recognised for his work as part of the Coodabeen Champions as a songwriter and guitarist. Greg often appears on the program writing songs about both Aussies rules football and cricket. Lunch with the Winners in the prestigious MCC Members Dining Room Meet the 2019 Winners Panel “Winning isn’t everything. It’s the only thing.” KATHY WATT OAM – Olympic Cycling Champion and Award-Winning Photographer Kathryn Ann Watt is an Australian racing cyclist who won two medals at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. She has won 24 national championships in road racing, track racing, and mountain bike, four Commonwealth Games gold medals, and came third in the world time trial championship. Kathy is a multiple award-winning photographer and works with the Godmother Brand Agency on project ideas and as Creative Director of Photography. RODNEY EADE – “17 years at the highest levels of AFL” Rodney Eade’s longevity as a senior coach at the highest level of Australian Rules Football for 17 Years, during which time he has coached over 377 games, is a testament to not only his talent, people management, tactical prowess but his ability to build and/or transform culture. DALE WEIGHTMAN – “...exemplary in a Big V jumper” Tenacious, fleet of foot, and highly skilled, Dale Weightman’s 1985 Tassie Medal was fitting reward for a player whose performances in a ‘Big V’ jumper were seldom other than exemplary. During a time when his club, Richmond, was suffering something of an ignominious decline, Weightman appeared increasingly to regard interstate fixtures as being effectively equivalent to finals football. DEBBIE LEE – “... pioneer of women's football” Deborah "Debbie" Lee is a former Australian rules football player and coach. She has campaigned for recognition of women's Australian rules footall in Australia, giving up a WNBL career to focus on developing the sport. She was later appointed president of the Victorian Women's Football League (VWFL).
