Fun “Mini City” Model Sets and Artistic Face Masks Launched to Celebrate the Commencement of the Full MTR

Passengers can now celebrate the commencement of the full Tuen Ma Line service with fun and artistic elements. A special series of Tuen Ma Line “Mini City” Model Sets and disposable face masks featuring the two new MTR stations, Sung Wong Toi and , together with Hin Keng and Kai Tak stations, will be launched over four consecutive weeks starting from 27 June 2021.

Priced at HK$150, each “Mini City” Model Set comprises a mini electronic toy train decorated with a visual of the corresponding station artwork, a Q-version station entrance, and a minimum of three model buildings depicting iconic landmarks and architecture along the featured stations of Tuen Ma Line with 20 pieces of track and bases. The four model sets can be combined to build a small rail community. Customers purchasing the model sets will also receive a brand- new MTR Points Card featuring the artworks of Tuen Ma Line stations. By scanning the QR code printed on the cards, customers will be able to earn 2,000 MTR Points in the MTR Mobile app (applicable to MTR Mobile registered users only).

A limited edition set of 3-ply disposable face masks with designs of the station artworks at Sung Wong Toi, To Kwa Wan, Hin Keng and Kai Tak stations will also be launched on the same day. Priced at HK$38, each box comprises eight ASTM Level 2 masks with five different designs.

“The opening of the full Tuen Ma Line marks a key milestone for MTR in railway development. It will be the longest railway line in with a total of 27 stations connecting the New Territories east and west. We hope these model sets showing districts along the new line will bring our customers to revisit the iconic landmarks and share the happiness of the new line opening,” said Ms Jeny Yeung, Commercial Director of MTR Corporation.

“We are also pleased to present the limited edition face masks with vibrant designs representing the artworks in the stations along the Tuen Ma Line, embellishing our daily life to ride out the challenges amidst the pandemic,” added Ms Yeung.

The first “Mini City” model sets and face masks will go on public sale from 27 June 2021 on the MTR Mobile app, MTR website (www..com.hk) and at all MTR and Light Rail Customer Service Centres1 (unpaid area), as well as Tourist Services at Admiralty Station while stocks last. Each customer can buy up to two sets of each item per purchase.
