In early August, Cindi and Reggie will be hosting our annual Ice Cream Social on the 1st. Later in the week, our monthly club meeting will be held at St. Joseph’s Villa on Thursday, August 5th. At this meeting, we will be able to tour their new Sarah Dooley Center for Autism building and learn more about their community programs. Hope you can join us at these events!! Old Fashioned Fun Run - July 10 Now that I have your attention let me explain. After a year of ICE CREAM! limited club activities, we can finally get back to doing the things we were meant to do. That is drive old cars and eat ice cream. Budd and Clif have planned a nice tour to Richlands dairy farm just outside of Blackstone. Now for a small fee of only $8 per person you get the opportunity to tour the dairy, a hayride, and pet a cow. But wait there's more you also get the opportunity to hand milk a cow, sounds like a bargain to me. Now you're asking yourself why would I want to pet or milk a cow? I'll ask why wouldn't you, that could very well be a great once in a life experience. After all that fun and excitement we'll go to Richlands dairy store, which offers homemade BBQ, wraps, and sandwiches. They also have homemade ice cream (See there's that magic word again). If you chose not to eat there, you're only 10 minutes away from downtown Blackstone. Which has several restaurants, and a large antique mall. Now this is an older style fun run that I used to do. We will travel Looking together on roads less traveled. With the only difference is I do need RSVPs, to inform the Forward dairy. ([email protected]) I will need them by July 3rd, which is also the club’s 4th of July party at the Ar- To seeing mour house. We have also reached out to the Model A club and Crater region to see if they'll join us. You on So come on out with the club, go for a ride, eat some ice cream, and maybe see Cindi Nash milk a cow. Which that's worth July 10 $8 in itself. If nothing else get your tastebuds ready for the ice cream social in less than a month.
