1 Welcome to the 2019 Tuition Assistance Auction! I Want To Welcome to the 2019 Tuition Assistance Auction! I want to personally thank you for your participation and support to make this a very successful event. Every person involved, no matter what your role, is vital to the success of this event. The Tuition Assistance Auction could not be accomplished without your involvement and support. NorthPointe Christian Schools continues to award approximately $500,000 each year in tuition assistance. One in four students that currently attend NPC receives assistance. This is made possible only through the generosity of God’s people. You play a significant role in giving these families the opportunity to receive an excellent Christ-centered education. “The opportunity to attend NorthPointe has meant so much to our son and to our family. Without the tuition assistance, there was no way that we would have been able to afford for him to attend. The tuition assistance is nothing but the works of God.” – A family receiving assistance We have many new items added to the 2019 auction, and once again they are amazing! As we start our evening, remember II Corinthians 9:7, “Each of you should give what you’ve decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” Have a great night tonight! Be cheerful in your giving! Bid high and bid often! Remember that every dollar you spend will go in its entirety to tuition assistance and will be used to fulfill our mission of “Equipping students to impact their world for Jesus Christ.” Many Blessings, Todd N. Before bidding, check the bid board for the item’s high bid and raise that bid a minimum of $5. Then put your bid card in the basket provided. The table host will post the high bids on the board as quickly as they can. If you really want the item, don’t hesitate to go to the top dollar amount right away to save work for the table host. Remember, our goal is not to get deals; our goal is to raise money. All silent auction bidding will start at 6pm. The first bid board will close at 6:25pm, then each bid board will follow in numerical order, approximately every 5-10 minutes. The master of ceremony will announce upcoming bid board closings and give some time for final bids to be made. When the countdown is completed the table host will pull the basket and the bids will be closed. If there are two or more bids for the same amount, the bidders will be called to the table to continue bidding until there is a winner. DINE AND DASH TABLE Face Value Restaurant Gift Cards! The 2016 Nebraska Christian Dinner & Benefit Auction 57 Years of “Building Lives for Eternity” Nebraska Christian Schools Central City, Nebraska www.nebraskachristian.org Saturday, March 19, 2016 Please bring this catalog with you on Saturday evening. Dear Friends of Nebraska Christian, On behalf of the Nebraska Christian Schools family, we would like to welcome you to our Dinner and Benefit Auction. Our many families, dedicated teachers, administration, and staff want you to know that they appreciate your presence and the support you show by your enthusiastic participation in the bidding this evening. We are grateful for the generosity of so many in giving their time, talent, and resources to this event. We know that the financial gain realized is only part of the benefit we receive. We consider the relationships formed during the last twelve auctions a great blessing to us and to the school. With thankful hearts, Kristy Langemeier, Special Events Coordinator Deana Leonard, Special Events Assistant The mission of Nebraska Christian Schools is to assist the family and church by providing a Christ-centered education, equipping students with a Biblical worldview, and encouraging a love relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. The reason for our Benefit Auction is...... Private educational institutions such as Nebraska Christian Schools face the challenge of providing quality education without the help of tax dollars. Nebraska Christian is also not under the shelter of denominational support. Parents of students must bear the majority of the costs involved in educating their students, but tuition alone does not meet all the demands. We are thankful for friends like you who invest in the lives of our students as they are trained to impact the world for Jesus Christ.
