The 2016 Nebraska Christian Dinner & Benefit Auction The 2016 Nebraska Christian Dinner & Benefit Auction 57 Years of “Building Lives for Eternity” Nebraska Christian Schools Central City, Nebraska www.nebraskachristian.org Saturday, March 19, 2016 Please bring this catalog with you on Saturday evening. Dear Friends of Nebraska Christian, On behalf of the Nebraska Christian Schools family, we would like to welcome you to our Dinner and Benefit Auction. Our many families, dedicated teachers, administration, and staff want you to know that they appreciate your presence and the support you show by your enthusiastic participation in the bidding this evening. We are grateful for the generosity of so many in giving their time, talent, and resources to this event. We know that the financial gain realized is only part of the benefit we receive. We consider the relationships formed during the last twelve auctions a great blessing to us and to the school. With thankful hearts, Kristy Langemeier, Special Events Coordinator Deana Leonard, Special Events Assistant The mission of Nebraska Christian Schools is to assist the family and church by providing a Christ-centered education, equipping students with a Biblical worldview, and encouraging a love relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. The reason for our Benefit Auction is...... Private educational institutions such as Nebraska Christian Schools face the challenge of providing quality education without the help of tax dollars. Nebraska Christian is also not under the shelter of denominational support. Parents of students must bear the majority of the costs involved in educating their students, but tuition alone does not meet all the demands. We are thankful for friends like you who invest in the lives of our students as they are trained to impact the world for Jesus Christ. “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” Proverbs 9:10 NCHS Staff and Faculty Josh Cumpston – Superintendent Chris Broman Scott Johnson Harold Cook Gib Killion Curtis Cooper Kathy Kirby Tom Dockweiler Kristy Langemeier Terry Elge Deana Leonard Andy Falk Mark Leonard Ruth Ferris Clay Mankin Amy Fetterley Karen Miotke Dee Flynn Tara Mundt Kaity Flynn Sara Musgrave Mike Flynn Carl Ostrand Stephani Francl Tonya Ostrand David Gee Becky Ritta Gil Glad Robert Ritta Karmen Hamer Susan Ritta Jody Heuermann Denise Schreiber Rachel Hicks Larry Schreiber Cheryl Hilderbrand Wendy Schweitzer Larry Hoff Charissa Smith Daurice Hower Janice Stuhmer Steve James Gordon Thiessen Donna Janssen Patty Welk Tim Jewell Eric Zanger Ronda Jividen Verna Zaruba Renate Johansen NC School Board Members Paul McHargue, Chairman Matt Green, Vice Chairman Lester Unruh, Secretary Les Griess, Treasurer Greg Epp William Feely Doug Langemeier Chuck Murphy Ryan Twogood Tyson Ratliff, Advisory Council Chairman The Nebraska Christian Schools Foundation “Leaving a legacy that builds lives for eternity.” The option of a Christian education is available today at Nebraska Christian Schools because of people who came before us, saw a need, and worked to meet it. I wonder if they ever imagined the impact this school would have someday. With alumni on every continent of the world except for Antarctica, the school they founded is impacting the world with the message of Jesus Christ. Today, we have the opportunity to leave our own legacy by building a secure financial foundation so that Nebraska Christian Schools can to continue provide a Christ-centered education. The Nebraska Christian Schools Foundation exists to help realize that goal. If you have questions or would like information regarding leaving your legacy through the Nebraska Christian Schools Foundation, please contact me.
