INVC NEWS New Delhi, Chief Minister Mr. Raghubar Das met Union Home Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh, Union Finance Minister Mr. Arun Jaitely & Union Urban Development Minister Mr. Venkaiya Naidu & discussed various important issues related with the state. Mr. Das demanded para military forces to conduct election smoothly in Jharkhand which was assured by the Union Home Minister. Mr. Das met the Finance Minister & requested the Niti Aayog to consider the submitted projects related to smart city, smart village, Ranchi township & New Ranchi city sympathetically. The CM also informed that the drip irrigation proposal lying with Department with Economic Affairs for approval should be approved soon. He also said that a long term loan is proposed to Japan International Co-operation Agency for approval. As soon as the scheme is approved, drip irrigation scheme will sped up & horticulture will flourish in the state. He also discussed urban development with the Union Development Minister Mr. Venkaiya Naidu and got him agreed for (HRIDAY) & (AMRUT). The Govt. will send development proposal of Deoghar under (HRIDAY) scheme & Ramgarh, Mango and other units of Jamshedpur like Jugsalai & Aadityapur under (AMRUT) scheme. The state govt. signed an MOU with the Central Govt. on Housing for All & the areas to be included under ULIS have been increased from 14 to 41. The state govt. is preparing proposal to be send to the union govt. within a week. The CM demanded an additional amount of Rs. I00 crores from the central govt. for the first phase completion of sewerage & drainage whose foundation stone is scheduled to be laid on 13th November, 2015. The Union Minister praised solid waste management being run in Ranchi. The CM thanked the central ministers for their positive response.
