I am an artist and had designed a bumper-sticker and a theme that I intended to present to WTPG management (free of charge - wow, what a concept) to help promote the station -just about the time that I learned of it's demise. Why? Because, likc you, I cared! Advertising the station and programming was non-existent. Where were the billboards, the ads pasted on buses, the promotions on other stations (doesn't Clear Channel own/operate a whole handful of stations?), the ads in newspapers, magazines, or flyers? Most of the advertising and promotion was done by word of mouth. (Think about it - how did you learn about WTPG?) WTPG has already changed it's format (and it is awful!).
