SPECTRUM SPORTS ACADEMY RULES OF FACILITY 1. No outside food or drinks are allowed. Full Concessions will be provided. Only gatorade and water are allowed in the gym areas. No gum is allowed in the gym areas. There is a full lobby with seating to eat. A SSA staff person will be at the door to the gyms monitoring food as well as the front /back check in desk. SSA is very close to several places to eat in between your games as well. 2. IMPORTANT! Only basketballs in the coaches ball bag will be allowed in the facility. Please make sure your players and parents are aware of this. We have had several complaints from patrons as well as a senior citizen being hit by a ball while players were horse playing. I am a coach as well and will enforce this with all of my players attending. Please make sure you are responsible for all of your players in the facility (horseplay). We appreciate it very much. Thank You. We also do not allow any ball or anything resembling a ball/object being thrown or displayed throughout facility. 3. No spectators or players will be allowed to dribble/shoot on the courts during games or in between games. Only the teams that are scheduled to play will be allowed. No whistles or whistling of any kind with be allowed. 4. Team Rooms (2) are available to teams during the event if needed. Please do not store equipment in these rooms. SSA is not responsible for any stolen items. 5. Please make sure your bench area is clear of all trash after your game. There is a trash can on each court and any help will be appreciate greatly. 6. Ice is available for any injuries, please go to concessions for this if needed. We do not provide a trainer or any medical supplies. 7. Games may run ahead so make sure your team is at the facility 30 minutes prior to game time. We do not promote this but want you to be aware. 8. Game balls provided by the home team cannot be a WAVE ball. Home team wears light color jerseys and is the official book. If the visitor team does not have a scorekeeper at the table, the visiting team forfeits any discussion about details of the official book. This includes fouls, time outs, roster etc. I would suggest that each team have a scorekeeper at the table; not in the stands. 9. The full game schedules will be posted on the big grey wall located in the front lobby. These will be updated by the tournament manager throughout the day as games are played. Please make sure you review the rules of play prior to competing so each team understands the seeding in ONE DAY format. 10. All referees are VHSL certified and are assigned/managed by David Crawford Management reserves the right to remove any patron for any rules violation. .
