Lot 2 – (Trevean), The standing grass is situated at Trevean Farm, Trevowhan Hill, Morvah, Pendeen, Penzance Cornwall TR20 8YU, which is approximately half a mile north-east of the village of Morvah. Lot 3 – (Boswednack), The Standing grass is situated in the Hamlet of Boswednack Zennor, Penzance, Cornwall, TR26 3DD, which is approximately 1.5 miles south-west of the village of Zennor. Lot 4 – (Boscean), The standing grass is situated at Boscean Farm, Penberth Valley, St Buryan, Penzance, Cornwall, TR19 6HH, which is approximately half a mile north- east of the hamlet of Treen and is about 2 miles south, south west of the village of St Buryan. An opportunity to take grass as a standing crop for 1 cut to be taken by the 30th September 2021 from fields at the sites of Bosigran (15.19ha – 37.56ac), Trevean (16.05ha – 39.67ac) & Boswednack (3.91ha - 9.66ac) which are in the Zennor area. The Land is certified Organic and the pastures are natural and Species diverse. Gateways are more suited to standard equipment but a site visit before tendering is highly recommended. Dates for cutting would need to be arranged and agreed with the National Trust and in each site a minimum of a 1-meter buffer margin would need to be left uncut. Lot 4. An opportunity to take 11.94ha – 29.50ac of grass as a standing crop for 1 cut to be taken by the 30th September 2021 from fields sited at Boscean Farm, Penberth Valley, St Buryan, Penzance, Cornwall, TR19 6HH, in the St Levan area. Conventional, non-organic land. Gateways are more suited to standard equipment but a site visit before tendering is highly recommended. Dates for cutting would need to be arranged and agreed with the National Trust and in each site a minimum of a 1-meter buffer margin would need to be left uncut. APPLICATION AND TENDER FORM The highest or any other tender will not necessarily be accepted. Tenders must be submitted on the attached tender form only and additional information may be attached thereto. Prospective tenderers should give the fullest possible details of their proposed tender. Buyers’ commission at the rate of 5% plus VAT is chargeable on the tender price although no VAT will be charged on the purchase price of the grass itself. Tenders close on Friday 30th July 2021 at 12 noon. VIEWING - Viewing strictly by arrangement with the agents.
