Pioneer Evangelism is a training ministry that consists of training lay evangelists to go into areas where there are no churches (pioneer areas), winning souls to Christ and starting new works. The goal is to make disciples of Jesus Christ by planting self-supporting, self-governing, and self-propagating churches under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. The emphasis is not to start just one church but churches starting multiple churches, which in turn start more churches. Wade and Barbara are Bellevue members. ARRIOLA, JULIO AND CARLA [email protected] Julio started his ministry in Guadalajara in September of 2017. After over 1,300 salvations, 89 baptisms, and over 400 average in attendance on Sundays, they are looking forward to opening another church on the north side of Guadalajara in the fall of 2019. PRAYER FOCUS: Please pray for additional workers for their new church and a new passenger van, which would assist them in reaching out to the community. Their focus is in the Bajio of Mexico; Bogota, Colombia; Santiago, Chile; and the countries of Haiti, Cuba, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia. Mike and Jennifer are former Bellevue members, and Mike is a former intern. PRAYER FOCUS: Right now the situation in Venezuela is critical. Even basic needs of baby formula, medicine, and most foods are difficult for the people to find and buy due to hyperinflation. Please pray for a change to occur and for our Baptist leaders and pastors serving to be strengthened daily as they live and work in desperate conditions. CAHILL, TIM AND LORI [email protected] Tim and Lori live in rural northern Ghana. Tim works at Baptist Medical Centre caring for patients and sharing Christ. Lori teaches their girls and takes care of their home. Lori is a former Bellevue member and her parents, Bill and Vicki Wilson, are Bellevue members. PRAYER FOCUS: Please pray that God would give them boldness, wisdom, and the ability to share Jesus with the people they interact with. CALVARY RESCUE MISSION calvaryrescuemission.org Calvary Rescue Mission is a non-profit, independent, faith- based shelter for homeless men in Memphis. They serve two full meals a day, offer clothing to the homeless, have a 2,500 volume library, and provide nightly chapel services, counseling, a discipleship program, and lodging. They are involved in a teddy bear ministry, New Testament ministry, law enforcement banquet, and chaplain ministry all geared to support local police officers. CHAVERS, DIANE [email protected] Diane works alongside Ponderosa Student Ministries, which teaches the Bible as the true and accurate Word of God and the authority for faith and conduct. The beautiful facility in Mentone, Alabama, also offers Hospitality Ministry to youth and church groups of all ages, do-it- yourself retreats, conferences, or camps. The ministry’s purpose is to present the gospel of Christ to students by giving opportunities to experience God’s Power, presence, and peace through a relationship with Jesus. They seek to accomplish this through the 3 Cs (& more): Camping, Classes, and Correspondence Courses. PRAYER FOCUS: Please pray for continued support for their staff missionaries. They are planning to expand their camping ministry to provide more than one week for foster children at no cost to their parents or the State. Upon completing his doctoral studies Land served as vice president for academic affairs at Criswell College in Dallas (1980-1988) and as administrative assistant to Governor Bill Clements of Texas (1987-1988). He served as president of the SBC Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission from 1988 to 2013. Dr. Land moved the Commission to more conservative positions on social issues such as sanctity of life and homosexuality.

Reaching people for Christ was the basis upon which the school was founded, and this passion motivates the president, the faculty, the curriculum, and even the chapel programs. Your presence at The College at Mid-America indicates that you share this motivation. The GO! Program exists to provide CAMA students with the opportunity to fulfill the mission of the school through community service. The GO! Program is the demonstration of what the student learns in the classroom. Students are expected to fulfill the biblical command to love their neighbor and thus are required to serve in community service sites and report on the work completed. By serving the community, the student connects the classroom to the practical aspects of community service and enhances his/her preparation to serve in the local church or in the business world. Mable Maxine She was born on September, 29th, 1925 in Memphis, Tennessee to Thomas Eugene and Susie Vera McCaskill. As a child, she lived in Mississippi and Tennessee during the depression and McCaskill Davis graduated from Holly Springs, MS high school in 1942. She married the late Jesse M. Davis on November 24th, 1945 in San Diego during Jesse’s shore leave prior to his return to the Entered is Life Pacific. A treasured family story relates that she took a train September 29, 1925 alone cross country to meet her fiancé in San Diego. While he was serving with the Navy and later the Air Force, they lived in Departed is Life Alabama and Florida prior to returning to the Memphis, TN area. She was active in her churches, March 27, 2017 most recently Faith Baptist Church of Bartlett, TN as well as at Peebles West Funeral Chapel Bellevue Baptist Church under pastor Dr. Adrian Rogers. Oakland, Tennessee She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse “Morris” Davis, her beloved son, Ronny G Davis and her grandson, Mark Officiating Minister Douglass Brown, and sisters Jean Andrews and Emma Odell.
