Devant une assemblée nombreuse, Mgr Dufour a remis solennelle- ment l’évangile au père Xavier, puis lui a fait renouveler ses pro- messes sacerdotales: c’est avec émotion que ce dernier a reformu- lé les vœux qu’il avait faits lors de son ordination. A la suite de cela, Mgr Dufour a prêché sur la parabole de l’évan- gile qui nous invite à dire OUI à Dieu. Qu’est-ce que dire OUI à Dieu aujourd’hui, ici et maintenant ? OUI à la vérité de Dieu ? OUI à l’amour vrai de Dieu ? Il nous a donné trois pistes: Dire OUI à Dieu, c’est lui dire « OUI, je t’aime ». Il est bon, n’est-ce pas, de dire « Je t’aime » à celui ou celle qu’on aime. Dire « Oui je t’aime » fortifie l’amour. Ecoutez Jésus vous dire « Je t’aime » et dites-lui que vous l’aimez. Dire OUI à Dieu, c’est lui dire : « Je te fais confiance », c’est dire OUI à l’Esprit Saint. L’Esprit Saint met en nous une aspiration à faire le bien, tandis que le démon met en nous une aspiration à faire le mal. Que choisissez-vous ? OUI au démon, ou OUI à l’Esprit Saint ?     Des usages de la rivière parfois difficiles à concilier. LA TOULOUBRE ET SES AFFLUENTS Les activités liées à la Touloubre sont relativement nombreuses : prélèvements d’eau Faire connaissance avec notre rivière l’irrigation et l’arrosage production d’hydro-électricité pour des jardins privés, à partir et mieux comprendre ses forces et ses faiblesses des 3 micro-centrales de Grans et de Saint-Chamas, rejets des stations d’épuration, pratique de la pêche, etc… Ces usages exercent des pressions non négligeables sur le cours d’eau : altération de la qualité de l’eau, aggravation des conditions d’étiage… Depuis quelques années, des efforts sont consentis par les collectivités et les usagers pour améliorer la qualité de l’eau des cours d’eau : réfection des réseaux eaux usées, amélioration des stations d’épuration, réduction voir suppression des rejets directs de certaines caves vinicoles, arrêt des principaux rejets de lavages de légumes… Cependant, des efforts conséquents restent à faire pour réhabiliter la qualité des cours d’eau. À noter que les eaux de la Touloubre et de ses affluents ne sont pas utilisées pour l’eau Suivre la Touloubre au fil de son parcours potable. Les besoins en eau potable sont principalement assurés sur le territoire par les eaux du Verdon via le Canal de Marseille ou le Canal de Provence ou par les eaux duranciennes via le canal EDF. Le réseau hydrographique du bassin de la Touloubre est Pélissanne et est gonflée en rive droite, au droit du village de La fortement influencé par la nature des sols très perméables, créant Barben, par les eaux du Boulery.
