U. & NAVAL BASE GUANTANAMO BAY, CUBA WAR! Arabs Agree on Israel CAIRO, Egypt (AP)--All 13 Arab countries represented at a Cairo military meeting have agreed to wage war against Israel, the Egyptian chief of staff said yester- day. Gen. Saad el Shazli told newsmen after the conference that "delegates voiced full desire to participate in the battle, with FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 1971 each country contributing what it can afford." Attending the conference were del- egates from Algeria, Syria, Libya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, South Ye- men, Jordon, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq and Sudan. Only Egypt, Syria and Jordon took an active part in the 1967 Middle East war. Iraq sent troops into Jordon, but they did not see action. An agenda was approved for tomor- row's meeting of the Joint Arab De- fense Council, including discussion of the Middle East military situa- tion, means of confronting Israel, and mobilization plans. The peace mission of the Organiza- tion of African Unity left Tel Aviv yesterday for Dakar after urging Is- rael and Egypt to resume indirect negotiations mediated by United Na- tions envoy Gunnar V.
