Khelo India has the following twelve verticals: Under the vertical Annual Sports Competitions, the 1st Khelo India Games were organized in 2018. The 2nd edition was held in 2019 which saw participation of athletes from across India in U-17 & U-21 age categories. The 3rd Khelo India Youth Games were organized in Guwahati from 10th January – 22nd January 2020. This year, the University Games have been planned to be held separately at Bhubaneswar in association with the Govt. of Odisha, Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and KIIT University from 22nd Feb to 1st Mar 2020. These games will be called “Khelo India University Games, Odisha 2020”. Concept Khelo India University Games (KIUG – 2020) will be organized in Under-25 age group (Men & Women). The competition will be amongst the top Universities in 17 sports disciplines from 22nd February – 1st March 2020 at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. -

Since its inception, India has twice hosted the Asian Athletics CHAMPIONSHIPS; at New Delhi (1989) and Pune (2013). Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha (India), will host the 22ndAsian Athletics Championship 2017, scheduled from 6th to 9th July 2017 at Kalinga Stadium Bhubaneswar. The Championships will have participation of athletes from 45 Asian countries competing for 42 events wherein 20 World Champions will be in action. Bhubaneswar is proud to host the biggest ever sporting event in the state which will place Odisha in the International Sporting Map. It's a budgeting tool that integrates strategic planning, long range financial planning, and performance management. Outcome based budgeting is a practice of suggesting and listing of estimated outcomes of each programme or schemes designed or being implemented by the Administrative Departments. An interesting feature of Outcome based budgeting is that the outcomes of the programmes are measured not just in terms of the amount spent but also in terms of physical output.In short, the “Outcome Budget” is an effort of the Government to be accountable and transparent to the people. In keeping with the spirit of holistic budgeting vis a visallocative priorities, scheme wise outcome/output framework is required to be reflected in the Outcome Budget document of the Sports & Youth Services Department beginning from the FY 2017-18.
