Some observers see a new hegemony in the process of forming. Others dispute that, but suggest that Design Science is merely the latest bandwagon rolling through the IS domain. The panel includes supporters of all these views. It will attempt to position Design Science from a variety of perspectives including the North American and the European view, the latter with a long tradition of Design Based IS scholarship.
