Appendix 3: Register of Call for Sites Submissions Rugby Borough Strategic Land Availability Assessment - Call for Sites Register Rugby Borough Council will keep a register of call for sites submissions open and available as confirmed in the C&W SHLAA Methodology. This register shows submissions made to the call for sites undertaken in Summer 2013 onwards. Submissions made prior to this that were not re-submitted in 2014 will not be listed. The register was closed temporarily in April 2015 to allow RBC to assess sites. It will re-open following the next public consultation on the emerging Local Plan. Although the report refers to long standing health and wellbeing issues which have and will continue to impact upon residents, we would encourage you to read them alongside the COVID-19 Health Impact Assessment which is available on the Warwickshire JSNA webpage (from July 2020). This assessment identifies key health and wellbeing indicators that have been affected by the Coronavirus outbreak. The pandemic has, and will continue to have, direct and indirect impacts on individuals and communities across Warwickshire. Some who suffered from COVID- 19 illness are facing a period of recovery of unknown trajectory. Many of those who lost loved ones during the pandemic are having to grieve without having been able to say goodbye, or to be close to others while they grieve. Additionally, economic and mental health impacts are already being felt as a result of the pandemic response, with these impacts disproportionately affecting people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Groups and those with lower incomes, who have often been at the frontline of the response in essential worker roles.

    Brinklow Site Allocations Development Pack 10th June 2016 Page intentionally left blank Brinklow Site Allocations Development Pack Introduction The following document has been produced to aid discussions between the Development Strategy team and Brinklow Parish Council, on the Local Plan site allocation selection process for the settlement of Brinklow. The document sets out the background of the Local Plan process to date; the framework for site selection; next steps for the Local Plan; and appendix one contains the site assessment tables. Background The Local Plan Preferred Options consultation document (December 2015), consulted upon during 14th December 2015 to the 19th February 2016, set out the Council’s preferred strategy to meet the housing target of 12,400 dwellings to be delivered during the plan period 2011- 2031. Relevant to Brinklow Parish Council, the preferred strategy to meet the housing target included the proposals for seven of the Borough’s main rural settlements (MRS) to accommodate approximately 100 dwellings each. The Local Plan Preferred Options consultation document did not identify any site allocations for the MRS, with it stating that the sites will be identified in the Submission Local Plan informed by partnership working with the Parish Council. The submission Local Plan which is the next consultation stage of the Local Plan (timetable for Local Plan is set out in the next step section of this document) is the document that the Council considers ready for independent examination by the Planning Inspectorate on behalf of the Secretary of State. The Local Plan Preferred Option highlighted that in accommodating growth at the MRS, amendments to the Green Belt boundary might be required.

The Designated area was the existing Parish Council boundary. References to ‘Wolvey’ will usually refer to the whole of the Parish. The Parish Council has produced the Wolvey Neighbourhood Plan with assistance from an Advisory Committee including Parish Council members and help from the Borough Council and other agencies. The Neighbourhood Plan will form the basis for planning decisions applicable to Wolvey Parish, up to 2031, together with the policies in the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), updated in 2019 which embrace the whole of the country and the Local Plan for Rugby Borough, Adopted on 21 June 2019, which covers the area controlled by the Borough Council. It is the Borough Council as the Local Planning Authority who will continue to determine planning applications, but they will have to consider the policies in the Neighbourhood Plan when reaching their decision.

Our policing area has strategic road links with the M6, A5 and M69 passing through. Local officers, with support tackle the criminals that travel those routes with a view to making communities safer from the threat of harm. The area is mostly made up of rural and village communities which bring their own unique demands. We focus work around high risk and prolific offenders and our Neighbourhood Teams will: • Engage with communities and partners to innovate, identify opportunities and create sustainable solutions to local problems. • Work with partners and communities to tackle the harm caused by crime and anti-social behaviour. • Be visible, accessible and accountable to local communities. • Engage with the Community Forum process and address priority concerns. • Seek to identify those at most risk of harm and support them through appropriate interventions.
