Acme's 11th Annual Charity Golf Classic benefiting Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc.

Acme's 11th Annual Charity Golf Classic and Silent Auction was held at Northampton Valley Country Club in Richboro, PA to to raise money and awareness for this remarkable organization who provides wounded veterans with resources as needed during what is often a difficult

time in their lives following their service to our country. PAWW is an independent non-profit 501©3 organization and not affiliated with any other veterans support organization,has grown tremendously thanks to the generous support of Pennsylvanians and in their statewide capability to assist Wounded Warriors, Veterans in Crisis and their families.

President, Helen Sajer and her late husband Maj. Gen. Gerald Sajer founded the organization in 2006 and today PAWW assists over 1,000 Pennsylvania veterans each year. Through generous donations and fund raising, PAWW is able to provide our service men and women with assistance such as: managing mortgage and rent, deposits, utilities, home and vehicle repairs, medical and educational programs not covered by the government, temporary housing for the soldiers, and necessary transportation. All funds are paid directly to landlords, vendors, and creditors on behalf of the veteran in need.

From this single day event, Acme was able to raise over $30,000 for Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc. Helen Sajer and the entire volunteer staff of PAWW is grateful for those who donated and gave their support for Acme’s Annual Charity Golf Classic and Silent Auction. Acme Celebrates National Manufacturing Day

On October 4th, Acme celebrated National Manufacturing Day!

Acme hosted clients, prospects, community leaders, and business associates an Open House Event that included a tour of the production facility, product demonstrations, and presentations on the process of manufacturing corrugated products.

Guests were guided through the facility, led by our Packaging Consultants and Production Supervisors as tour guides took them on a discovery of manufacturing corrugated products from concept to delivery.

Along the tour, guests witnessed the high speed production of our Corrugator, the advanced technology of our converting machines, the accuracy of our in-house ink kitchen for matching colors, the computer driven customization of our Finished Goods Conveyor System, and Acme's OPEX Testing Lab. With life size floor displays of space savings flute profiles and presentations of Acme’s innovative products, our guests experienced Acme's leading edge packaging solutions. On display were beneficial applications of Powerwall 60 which provides bulge protection and AcmeGUARD which is the solution for moisture resistant corrugated packaging, plus Acme's newest offering, I/O Specialty Printing for 2 sided printing in a single pass.

Acme welcomed Pacific Millennium Packaging Group Corp. (PMPGC) from People’s Republic of China, on October 14th. Annually PMPGC visits state of the art corrugated

packaging manufactures in the US and each year Acme is proud to be a stop on their tour.
