Acme's 11th Annual Charity Golf Classic and Silent Auction was held at Northampton Valley Country Club in Richboro, PA to to raise money and awareness for this remarkable organization who provides wounded veterans with resources as needed during what is often a difficult time in their lives following their service to our country. PAWW is an independent non-profit 501©3 organization and not affiliated with any other veterans support organization,has grown tremendously thanks to the generous support of Pennsylvanians and in their statewide capability to assist Wounded Warriors, Veterans in Crisis and their families. President, Helen Sajer and her late husband Maj. Gen. Gerald Sajer founded the organization in 2006 and today PAWW assists over 1,000 Pennsylvania veterans each year. Through generous donations and fund raising, PAWW is able to provide our service men and women with assistance such as: managing mortgage and rent, deposits, utilities, home and vehicle repairs, medical and educational programs not covered by the government, temporary housing for the soldiers, and necessary transportation. All funds are paid directly to landlords, vendors, and creditors on behalf of the veteran in need. From this single day event, Acme was able to raise over $30,000 for Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc.
