Travelling to By train The Valenciennes railway station offers connections with other regional destinations, for further information you can visit https://www.ter.sncf.com/hauts-de-france

In case you want to do your complete journey by train, we recommend to reach or trains stations and from there get to with a High Speed train. As indicated above, Lille is connected with regional transport to Valenciennes.

Or the one of your train operator. By flight Valenciennes does not have a commercial airport but you can get here by flying to:

 Paris –  Brussels - Zaventem  Other possible solutions involve flying to Brussels – Charleroi, Lille or Paris – .

 Use the train connection Paris Charles de Gaulle airport to Valenciennes. Travelling time ranges from 2h 30 min to 3h 30 min.  Take a train from to Brussels midi. Travelling time is about 25 minutes. You can buy your ticket in the airport station or online. Additional information is available at https://www.belgiantrain.be/en  In Brussels Midi Station take a train to Lille Europe. In Lille, you will need to walk for 15 minutes to change to Lille Flandres railway station.  In Lille Flandres you can take one of the trains that travels to Valenciennes.  Get on E19 and follow it for almost 90 Km

 Follow E19 to D50 in Vicq, France. Take exit 25 from A2

 Continue on D50 to your destination in Anzin

WARNING : Due to road works in , the journey time can be very different depending on the time.

 Get on A1 for about 130 Km

 Keep right at the fork to continue on A2/E19, follow signs for /Valenciennes/Bruxelles/Liège

 Follow the A2 for about 57 Km

 Take the exit onto A23

 After 2,2 Km Take exit Valenciennes- toward Valenciennes-Nord

 Continue on D649 to your destination in Anzin

How to get to the Conference Venue: from Valenciennes Railway Station to Cité des Congrès Valenciennes

When you arrive in Valenciennes Railway Station, go to the tram stop “Gare de Valenciennes”. Take the tram T2 direction Le Boulon, After three stops, get out of the tram in Centre de Congrès and walk for 5 minutes to Cité des Congrès, Valenciennes.

Your stay in Valenciennes Valenciennes is a city of around 50.000 in the North of France. The records a population of 399,677. Valenciennes was destroyed in the Second .
