The technology allows two aerials to be connected to the two built-in tuners, combining the signals to boost reception. In stronger reception areas, the Diversity technology can allow reception on the move, such as in a car or on a train (max theoretical 100 mph). When connected to two aerials with good reception, Hauppauge's Diversity stick can also operate as a twin tuner, allowing owners to watch one channel whilst recording another to hard disk. The Nova-TD Stick is supplied with two high gain indoor aerials. Priced at £79.99 inc. VAT, and available immediately from online and high street retailers, the Nova-TD Stick is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Media Center Edition (MCE), and the new Windows Vista operating system. The Home Premium and Ultimate versions of Windows Vista include Media Center, Microsoft's multimedia centre designed for armchair use.
