The 10-Year-Old Vocal Phenom Follows His Debut EP 'Defying Gravity' With the iTunes Release Of His Cover Of An Early Jackson 5 Classic

A few weeks after Oliver Richman 's ( www.oliverrichman.com ) latest run of showstopping appearances as "Young ” in "Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show” ( www.sandysratpack.com ) in Palm Desert and Glendora, California (March 2-4), the 10-year-old vocal phenomenon is following in equally formidable footsteps: 's !

Forty-two years after took 's classic ballad "Who's Lovin' You ” (featuring the vocals of Michael) to #1 as the B-side of " ,” the young powerhouse is releasing his own towering version as a single on iTunes on http://bit.ly/IkMrEP .

The track was produced by Richman's mother, songwriter and performer Lisa Dawn Miller , co-produced by Mark Matson and features Dave Hart on guitar and harmonica.

Richman also recently performed on KMIR-TV's AM news in Palm Desert http://www.kmir6.com/news/local/141232213.html .

Among the artists who have recorded "Who's Lovin' You” since debuted it in 1960 are , , Terence Trent D'arby , Human Nature and .

Last fall, Richman did a week of performances as "Young Frank” in "Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show” at the Fred Kavli Theatre in Thousand Oaks, California . He later released his debut EP Defying Gravity .

The success of Richman's videos for "Defying Gravity” (from the musical Wicked ) and the Steve Miller Band 's 1982 hit "Abracadabra” inspired the eclectic four track set, which showcases his unique versatility. The EP includes a stirring rendition of the Gershwin standard "Someone To Watch Over Me” (the song Richman sings in "Rat Pack Show”) and "I Can See,” an original song penned by the singer's late grandfather, legendary songwriter Ron Miller .

Richman's inspiring video for "Defying Gravity” has garnered an impressive 71,000-plus views on YouTube.

During the holiday season in 2010, Richman sang with at a House Full of Toys Benefit Concert. Wonder invited Richman to sing at the 15 th Annual House Full of Toys Benefit Concert , held at the Nokia Theatre in ; Richman received a standing ovation for his performance from an audience of over 7,500 people. He has also been featured on Byron Allen Entertainment Studios ' "The Young Icons,” a nationally syndicated show about young people changing the world.
