Class 3 UNFORGETT ABLE HOLIDAY

Goa! My parents, my cousins and I went to Goa in summer vacati on. My cousins were building sandcastles, my mother was reading books, my father and I went straight to the beach to go for a swim and play in the water. From our room, we could see the beauti ful beach. India sent its largest delegati on of competi tors (117) which is 34 more than the 2012 record. Pusarla V Sindhu won the silver medal in women’s badminton singles and Sakshi Malik won the bronze medal in women’s wrestling freestyle 58 kg. Abhi- nav Bhindra was the opening ceremony’s fl ag bearer and Sakshi Malik was the fl ag bearer of the closing ceremony. India was ranked 67 in the fi nal standing with 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.
