Class 3 UNFORGETT ABLE HOLIDAY Class 3 UNFORGETT ABLE HOLIDAY Goa! My parents, my cousins and I went to Goa in summer vacati on. My cousins were building sandcastles, my mother was reading books, my father and I went straight to the beach to go for a swim and play in the water. From our room, we could see the beauti ful beach. I saw many colourful fi shes, dolphins hopping out of the water. Women could be empowered through education, sports and physical activities and by giving them equal opportunities in different walks of life.     MAHARASHTRA AMATEUR GYMNASTICS ASOOCIATION Wishing you all Happy Republic Day & Holi RG: 28TH MH STATE RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS CHAMPIONSHIP THANE 2017-18 28th Maharashtra State Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship was jointly organized by Thane District Gymnastics Association and The Phoenix Gymnastics under the aegis of Maharashtra Amateur Gymnastics Association at Shrirang Vidhyalaya Thane (West) from 13-14th January 2018 in the age groups of Girls U/8, U/10, U/12, U/16 and Girls Above/16 years. 164 gymnasts, 14 coaches, 10 managers, 20 women judges and 60 volunteers and organizing committee members from 10 districts i. e. Aurangabad, Amravati, Mumbai City, Mumbai Suburb, Palghar, Parbhani, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, Nagpur, and Thane participated in the above championship. The Championship was inaugurated by Shri Milind Ballal Chairman Shrirang Education Society on 13th January 2018 in presence of Shri Pramod Sawant Secretary Shrirang Education Society, Shri Mahesh Bhonsle Treasurer Shrirang Education Society, Mrs. Arundhoti Limaye Trustee Shrirang Education Society, Mr. Sriniwas Surve Trustee Pooja Trust, Mr. Mukund Bhoir Chairman Bhoir Gymkhana, Mr. Satish Seth, Mr. Makrand Joshi Secretary MAGA, Mr. Pawan Bhoir Treasurer MAGA, Mrs. Sanjivini Purnapatre, Mrs. Sonali Sawant, Ms. Pooja Surve, Mr. R. N. Mangla, Mrs. Varsha Upadhye Competition Director and many more distinguished guests. The Prize distribution and closing ceremony was held on 14th January 2018 at 8 pm onwards.
