I Alan Chartock – President and CEO hope that everyone will give the new format a chance. Frankly, I love it. I think Joe does a Dona Frank-Federico– Chief of Staff masterful job of moving things along and keeping Selma Kaplan – Senior Vice President the discussions lively and interesting. Pat Cooney – Vice President, Operations Another matter is the one thing that matters most Joe Donahue – Vice President, News/Programming to me and that is civility. I hear from so many of you who love and appreciate the radio station. I also occasionally hear from people who are Management Staff frustrated that they can’t have their book or memoir featured on the station. A lot of people Sharon Lescak – Membership Director listen to this station. Most people understand that Mary Jackson – Business Manager we do what we can but occasionally there are people who are very, very rude. The other day I Ian Pickus – News Director had a screamer on the phone that you would not Katie Britton – Programming & Outreach Director have believed. When I do the Vox Pop program I insist on civility. Every once in a while we get Ray Graf – New Media Director someone who thinks it’s fun to start screaming. Marian Wise – Grants Director That’s why we have a “dump button.” I have only had to use it a few times but one really wonders Stacey Rosenberry – Engineering/Operations Manager how some people’s mothers raised them. Graeme McKenna – General Manager, The Linda, WAMC’s Performing Arts Studio Despite my carping about misbehavior, I really Peter Koniuto – Fund Drive Manager have to tell you that almost everyone I speak with tells me how much they love and treasure the radio Stefanie Abel – Marketing /Underwriting Manager station. The upstate New York broadcaster serves PBS content to a four county area surrounding Albany, the state capital. WMHT returns to Myers as one of nine PBS participants in the Syracuse-based Centralcast, LLC. "ProTrack enables us to work more closely with the other New York State stations, as well as take advantage of all the efficiencies and cost savings inherent in a centralcast model," said Anthony Tassarotti, chief technology officer for WMHT. "I'm very happy about coming back to ProTrack's more robust, secure and easy to manage Linux/Unix-based system architecture; plus, Myers' hardware and OS support are outstanding." Echoing that, TV traffic operations manager Jayne Robinson, a veteran of numerous commercial broadcast systems, is "eager to get up to speed with ProTrack, everyone I've spoken with says it's the 'Cadillac' of broadcast management software!" "After all these years in business, I'm not sure what's more exciting… taking on an entirely new client, or having an old one come back. Either way, we are absolutely thrilled to be able to support WMHT's broadcast operations again" said Crist Myers, company CEO and president.
