Dalam penelitian ini, dapat dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode sejarah dengan tahap-tahap; (1) Tahap Pengumpulan Data, (observasi, wawancara, studi dokumen), (2) Kritik Sumber ( verifikasi), (3) Interpretasi ( Analisis Data), dan (4) Historiografi ( Penulisan Sejarah) Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan, yakni: (1) sejarah tradisi Melasti Mendak Hujan, adalahuntuk meningkatakan srada dan bhakti kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa untuk menghapuskan segala penderitaan yang ada pada masyarakat, menghilangkan kekotoran alam semesta serta mencegah kerusakan alam semesta yang membuat hubungan harmonis antara manusia dengan Tuhan, manusia dengan sesama manusia dan manusia dengan alam lingkungannya; (2) Sistem pelaksanaan upacara Melasti Mendak Hujan diawali dengan adanya tahap persiapan upacara, persiapan ngayah sebelum Melasti Mendak Hujan, adanya proses persembahyangan bersama di Pura Sad Kahyangan,puncak acara adanya berbagai tarian diantaranya upacara nedunang ida bhatara, tarian kincang-kincung dan ngurek di pesisir pantai; (3) Aspek-aspek tradisi Melasti Mendak Hujan yang bisa di implementasikan sebagai sumber belajar sejarah sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013 adalah sebagai berikut nilai religius, nilai memperkuat solidaritas/kelompok masyarakat, nilai menjaga hubungan harmonis dengan alam, nilai sosial religius.

Through the regulation 20/1994 concerning the Management and Retribution of Tourist Object to manage the Uluwatu Temple outer area as a tourist attraction, Badung Regency Goverment gave license to Pecatu Village to manage those attractions. The purpose of this research is to find out the form, the obstructions and the efforts of Desa Pakraman Pecatu in term of tourism attraction management. Theories utilized in this study included functionalism theory, structuration theory, and the theory of hegemony. The study shows that tourist attraction outside area of Uluwatu Temple is managed directly by Desa Pakraman Pecatu, while other tourist attractions managed by the community in the respected area of the attractions. There are several obstructions that faced by management of tourist attractions, such as limited of human resources, limited of facilities, and limited of fund, lack of management regulation, inter-organizational coordination, and property ownership. The efforts which have been done to solve the problem such as, the establishment of tourist attraction management, the restructurization of tourist attraction, the preparation of the management and retribution regulations, the empowerment of the society, and the improvement of inter- organizational cooperation. Variabel yang digunakan untuk membandingkan efektivitas dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari delapan variabel yaitu: keamanan data, waktu, ketelitian, variasi laporan, relevansi, kenyamanan fisik, keekonomisan dan kepuasan pengguna.Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang disebarkan dan wawancara langsung kepada karyawan dan karyawati yang bekerja di LPD Desa Adat Mengwi dan Pecatu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan dan karyawati pada LPD Desa Adat Mengwi dan Pecatu. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 74 karyawan dan karyawati yang bekerja menggunakan komputer dan berhubungan dengan penggunaan sistem informasi akuntansi berbasis komputer, dengan metode purposive sampling.
