The SPD will provide guidance which will help shape future development and priorities at the Princess Royal Barracks Site and the wider Deepcut area. Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) is now an integral part of producing planning documents. The purpose of SEA is to consider the likely significant effects on the environment of implementing a plan or programme and any reasonable alternatives, taking into account the objectives and geographical scope of the plan or programme.
