Public Notice Proposed Diversions of Public Footpath 126a (West End) and 126a ( And Frimley Borough of Heath Section 119 Highways Act 1980

Surrey County Council has received an application to divert parts of the current routes of Public Footpaths 126a (West End) and 126a (Camberley and Frimley) as shown on the accompanying plans 3/1/82/H20 and 3/1/84/H19 posted with this notice. The current legal routes are shown A – B – C and E – F and the proposed routes A – D – C and E – G – F.

The diversion has been applied for in the interests of the public. The proposed routes will be an improvement for users, providing a wider, firmer and drier surface than the existing route. They will also protect fauna and flora on site. Both existing definitive routes tend to be wet and overgrown.

We would like to obtain the views of anyone affected so that an informed decision can be taken on whether to proceed to make a diversion order. If you have any comments or objections to the proposal, please send them in writing, by Monday 30 November 2020 to:

Daniel Williams Countryside Access Team Surrey County Council Whitebeam Lodge Merrow Depot Merrow Lane GU4 7BQ Telephone 020 8541 9245 e-mail: [email protected]

It would be helpful to have your reasons for objecting/ supporting the proposal. If you require any further information or you wish to obtain a copy of this notice or the plan, please email or telephone the above.

If the Council decides to make an order then it will be advertised in the local paper and by notice on site for a further 28-day period.
