THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE OUR NEW HOME!

Greetings,

We are so excited to be able to welcome you to the Ringling College Museum Campus, home to the Sarasota Art Museum and the School of Continuing Studies (SCS) for classes beginning in fall 2019. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Ringling College (OLLI) is thrilled to be a part of the SCS and of the team educating and engaging our vibrant and creative community of learners.

The Museum Campus is inspired by both the contemporary and the historic. The façade of the main building and some of the interior brick remains the same, preserving the historic, while the interior is a contemporary wonder of glass walls and state-of-the-art classrooms for courses across a range of disciplines and interests, including studio arts. As a student, you will have access to a courtyard and a bistro so that you may comfortably socialize with your fellow lifelong learners in a space that nourishes both your body and soul.

It has been an eventful year. I am honored to share that in June 2019 the Bernard Osher Foundation recognized us with an endowment and a grant for exceeding the goals identified in our initial grant from the Foundation. Though the award honors OLLI at Ringling College, it really belongs to you, our members. You registered, you volunteered, you recruited new members, you renewed your memberships, and you did so in numbers that far surpassed the levels we thought we could achieve. Your efforts have been impactful and impressive, and the Osher Foundation certainly noticed! This endowment will help ensure that OLLI at Ringling College continues to provide meaningful and engaging learning opportunities for the region.

We thank you, and look forward to seeing you in our new home at the Ringling College Museum Campus!

Respectfully,

Dr. Mona Callies Assistant Vice President, School of Continuing Studies INDEX
