Hughes FIRST GRADE NPLNSW.COM.AU MATCH ydney FC will be determined to replicate it’s Sfive goal haul against Parramatta FC from Round 2 when they host the bottom of the table side on Saturday. They young Sky Blues fought back from 2-0 down in that match to run away convincing winners and coach Robbie Stanton will have his sights set on a much improved performance this time around. Coming into the match on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Rockdale City Suns, Sydney FC will need to rediscover their winning ways with midfielders Chris Zuvela, Christian Gonzales and Nikola Kuleski all expected to be key contributors. For Parramatta the match is a chance to rebuild morale after what has been a difficult season to date. A win on Saturday night would do wonders for the confidence of Parramatta FC’s players as they battle to avoid relegation. 1ST GRADE - PLAYSTATION 4 NPL NSW MEN’S POS TEAM P W D L F A GD PTS 1 APIA Leichhardt Tigers FC 12 9 0 3 26 11 15 27 2 Blacktown City FC 12 8 3 1 23 11 12 27 3 Sydney Olympic FC 12 7 3 2 20 11 9 24 4 Rockdale City Suns FC 12 7 2 3 25 18 7 23 5 Sydney United 58 FC 12 7 1 4 23 12 11 22 6 Manly United FC 12 5 3 4 27 23 4 18 7 Hakoah Sydney City East FC 12 4 4 4 19 17 2 16 8 Wollongong Wolves FC 12 5 1 6 14 16 -2 16 9 Sydney FC 12 3 1 8 17 26 -9 10 10 Sutherland Sharks FC 12 3 0 9 18 30 -12 9 11 Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC 12 2 2 8 21 37 -16 8 R. Goals from Brayden Sorge and Aleksander Canak either side of halftime ended a run of three straight losses for the home side. Sydney FC might have pulled a goal or two back after an improved second half performance, but Rockdale were well worth their win, and held their opponents out for a clean sheet and three crucial points. The result consolidates Rockdale’s position in the top five as they finish the round in fourth position on 24 points. Wollongong Wolves FC 3 - Parramatta FC 0 at WIN Stadium Wollongong Wolves gave their finals aspirations a much needed boost with a 3-0 win over Parramatta FC in their PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s heritage round clash at WIN Stadium on Sunday. It was one way traffic for the home side as star signing Nick Montgomery opened his account for the Wolves while Christopher Price and Patrick Antelmi also hit the back of the net The visitors disappointed again in a performance not to be remembered on the road. The victory kept finals football in range for Jacob Timpano’s Wollongong side with 10 weeks left to play. 6 ROUND 12 NPLNSW.COM.AU TEAM OF THE 01: LARGE USE: OVER 150MM WIDE This logo has a smaller ‘®’ symbol 02: FOOTBALL NSW WOULDSMAL LIKEL USE: TO55MM THANK - 150MM WID THEIRE SPONSORS FOR THEIRThis CONTINUED logo has a larger ‘ ®SUPPORT’ symbol 7 #PS4NPLNSW Bad sporting behaviour is unacceptable and it can be unlawful. playbytherules.net.au Provides information and online training on equal opportunity and child protection laws to address inappropriate behaviour in sport. The Sky Blues’ 2-0 defeat of Rockdale last weekend maintained what has been a remarkable defensive record for David Zdrilic’s men who have conceded just eight goals all season. The goals are also starting to flow with more regularity with John Iredale the key man up front for Sydney with five. Although Parramatta have sunk to the bottom of the table as a result of their horrid run the Melita Stadium outfit have not been comprehensively outplayed by their opponents throughout the run and have only been beaten narrowly by the likes of Sutherland and Sydney United 58. They’ll hope something will finally give this weekend as they look to drag themselves back off the foot of the table. 11 UNDER 18s #PS4NPLNSW 1 Tom FAY 1 Justin VELJOVIC 2 Evan TSAKOS 2 Cameron HAYWOOD 3 Aaron GURD 3 Zeke PRISUDA 4 Phil CANCAR 4 Jack SAXBY 5 Mitch MATTISON 5 (C) Camil ABOUCHAAYA 6 Jake HOLLMAN 6 Corey NERCESSIAN 7 Marco TILIO 7 Ethan MAGUIRE 8 Leo ABDO 8 Oskar SHAMOUN 9 Jacob VASILIOU 9 Salvatore BARBARO 10 Rocco CHISARI 10 Andrew PETHYON 11 Alex MASCIOVECCHIO 11 Matthew TAVEINITI 12 Jay HIRSCHOWITZ 12 Joshua LITTLEFIELD 13 Paolo LAXAMANA 13 Ethan DENIS 14 Benjamin KOOP 14 Mohamed ALI JALLOH 15 Luke OKUDA 15 Samuel DALEY 16 Bailey KUBECKA 16 Harrison ANTONOPOULOS Head Coach: Jimmy Van Weeren Coach: Troy Jackson Assistant Coach: Jason Rea Coach: Jonathon Keppie Manager: Richard Paddle UNDER 18s - PLAYSTATION 4 NPL NSW MEN’S POS TEAM P W D L F A GD PTS 1 Sydney FC 11 9 1 1 28 8 20 28 2 Rockdale City Suns FC 12 7 2 3 26 10 16 23 3 Manly United FC 12 6 4 2 18 13 5 22 4 Sutherland Sharks FC 12 6 1 5 18 18 0 19 5 Wollongong Wolves FC 11 5 3 3 23 12 11 18 6 Sydney United 58 FC 12 5 3 4 19 17 2 18 7 Blacktown City FC 12 4 2 6 14 11 3 14 8 Parramatta FC 11 3 5 3 12 14 -2 14 9 Hakoah Sydney City East FC 12 3 4 5 16 24 -8 13 10 APIA Leichhardt Tigers FC 12 2 2 8 15 29 -14 8 11 Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC 11 1 5 5 11 28 -17 8 12 Sydney Olympic FC 12 1 4 7 15 31 -16 7 12 FEATURE STORY NPLNSW.COM.AU SPOTLIGHT ON: Get to know more about Sky Blues Andrea Agamemnonos ahead of tonight’s clash.
