Meet and greet transfer Yerevan. Transfer to you selected hotel. Check-in at 14:00. Rest and overnight at the hotel. Day 2: Aug 31: Yerevan City Tour / Zoo Park / Lovers Park / Cascade Monument /Shopping Malls After breakfast start city tour around Yerevan the history of which goes back to 8th c. The sightseeing tour includes visit to Republic Square, Northern Avenue, Opera House with Swam Lake, Cascade Monument which is considered to be the center of art of the city as here you can find unique sculptures. Visit to Zoo park which is home of about 260 species of animals. Visit Mother Armenia Monument which is also a famous and favorite place for children – here they can have fun at the around Carousel Park experiencing merry-goes- round and in the near park. Visit Dalma Garden Mall & Yerevan Mall for shopping. Overnight at the hotel. Meal: breakfast Day 3: Sep 1: Yerevan /Garni / Geghard / Vernissaje (PICK UP at 10:00) After breakfast departure to Geghard Monastery (13th c.) – a monastery which is hewn out from a cave. The monastery had been originally named Ayrivank meaning "the Monastery of the Cave". The name commonly used for the monastery today, Geghard, or more fully Geghardavank meaning "the Monastery of the Spear". The monastery is also included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. Continue our journey to Garni Pagan Temple from 1st c. The temple was built by Armenia King Tiridates and was dedicated to the God of Sun Mithra. Garni is the only Hellenistic temple existing nowadays in Armenia. The stairs of the temple are made huge and high which means that every human being climbing up the stairs is condescending to God of Sun. Drive back to Yerevan to visit Vernissaje flea market which offer many kinds of national souvenirs, jewelry and many traditional items. Overnight at the hotel. Meal: breakfast Day 4: Sep 2: Yerevan / Tsakhadzor / Lake Sevan / Yerevan (PIKC UP at 10:00am) After breakfast departure to the resort town of Tsakhkadzor (Gorge of Flowers) – town of forested mountains. Walking tour around the city. Opportunity to ride up the ropeway which will take you to the peak of mount Teghenis mount from where opens breathtaking view to the fortress town. The road will take us to Lake Sevan which is going to be one of the highlights if your trip. Climb the stairs up on the peninsula from where opens a fascinating view to the “blue- eyed” lake. Sightseeing tour on the peninsula. Lake Sevan is considered to be one of the largest sweet lakes in the world at an altitude of 1897 meters above sea level. Departure back to the capital. The Mother Armenia statue was erected in 1967 in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan as a female personification of Armenia. Its meaning and symbolism have been reworked during different collective crises for the Armenian nation.
