3.2 Listing of services for children, young people & families (DLR CYPSC, 2019) Health Services in DLR Service Sector Hardiker Level Local Health The DLR area is located in HSE Community Healthcare East Statutory Level 1 Offices (ISA / (CHE) area. The HSE is reorganising in 2020 but this is unlikely LHO replaced to affect services on the ground. There are 2 HSE Community by: Services Offices in DLR (Dublin South East and Dún Community Laoghaire). They provide breast feeding clinics, developmental checks and wound care clinics. This service is available to women living in a certain geographical area and who are deemed at low risk of complications during pregnancy and birth. Activities include training, research and resourcing of prevention and early intervention programmes. See: https://www.rainbowsireland.ie/ The HSE Counselling in Primary Care service (CIPC) is Statutory Level 1 & 2 available to those 18yrs + who are medical card holders and are referred by a GP/ primary care staff. Service locations include some health centres and health service sites in the DLR area. This can be accessed by self-referral. Secondary and tertiary care mental health services are also provided on behalf of the HSE by St. John of God Hospital, Cluain Mhuire Community Mental Health Services for those living in much of the DLR area. They provide assessment and treatment for young people under 18 who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
