Community Living British Columbia [CLBC] is a crown responsible for arranging supports and services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. CLBC staff strives to adhere to the corporate vision of ‘Lives filled with possibilities in welcoming communities’.

The Role: As a Contract & Procurement Services Analyst for CLBC, you will be responsible for providing a range of procurement and contract services related to the acquisition of services to Head Office and Regional staff.

Other duties include:  Ensuring procured and contracted services are effective, efficient and consistent with CLBC strategic direction and program priorities.  Leading and participating in a variety of ongoing and ad hoc projects;  The generation of statistical reports, of contracting instructions and their application;  Ensuring appropriate development and maintenance of procedures and systems based on requirements  Providing ongoing support and coaching to Head Office and regional staff to support the Procurement and Contracting and related materials.  Providing advice and analysis on procurement and contracting processes, and/or manages these processes on behalf of CLBC stakeholders

Although this position requires a procurement background, the position is 60% administrative, 40% procurement. The position will also be expected to produce templates in both Microsoft Word and Excel in order to update existing or create new procurement or contract templates.

This role requires an individual that has:  Strong computer skills;  Excellent interpersonal skills and business analysis skills,  The ability to multi-task,  Excellent communication skills, and attention to minute detail.

In this position, emphasis is placed on clear and accurate thinking, sound judgment, a strong drive to meet critical deadlines, the ability to work independently, and pride in producing high quality work.

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree in related field and a background in programs/business certification, such as a Degree or Diploma, or procurement and other

related post-secondary courses is preferred.

 A minimum of 3 years’ experience using MS Excel and Word at an Intermediate Level

 A minimum 3 years of experience in the full procurement life cycle and contract management and analysis, evaluating options and recommending solutions including, procurement consulting services, competitive tendering processes, writing business documents for management, applying related policy and standards, contract management, or equivalent experience.
