Welcome to Demon Days 2018! Welcome to Demon Days 2018! Welcome to Northwestern State University! Are you all moved in and looking for something to do? Check out the calendar for Demon Days 2018: So...This Happened! Demon Days is a series of FUN and FREE events designed to welcome new and returning students to Northwestern State. Demon Days begins with Move-In and continues throughout the month of September – so basically, it’s THROUGH DAY 42 @ NSU! Whether you are new to campus or a rising senior, Demon Days has something for everyone. The schedule is full of activities to help you explore your Northwestern State home, connect with old friends, meet new ones, and celebrate the start of the school year with fellow Demons and the NSU community. Don’t miss the Signature Events, indicated with a . Signature Events are either required or important enough that we think you #demondays should attend. Back to School Supply Drive Alpha Lambda Delta First Year Honor Society invites you to give back to the Natchitoches community. Pitchforks for Pencils provides back-to-school supplies for local children and helps them start the school year prepared. Drop off supplies during Move-In Day and throughout the first week of classes at the First Year Experience Office. Greg Handel: • Interfolio reporting period will open next week. Faculty can currently upload and update their profile and activities; the official ‘Faculty Activity Report’ prompt will open soon. This has been a collaborative effort between the Provost’s Office, IT, and HR/Institutional Effectiveness. It is a single sign on, automatic download of faculty in the system, and automatic download of courses taught per semester going back to 2013 (to assist those who will go through the Retention/ Tenure/Promotion process). • One of our UG Certificates (Strategic Communication) was approved by the BoR last month. Two more are in the queue.
