Spring/Summer 2019 Ears the News Tri-State Basset Rescue's Newsletter Recap of the 2019 BoardWaddle By Julia Ellis, TSBHR Secretary The rain on Saturday of BoardWaddle weekend did not dampen our spirits! Although the weather-Gods were not in our favor this year for the parade, we saw smiles for miles with every human and hound there to support our annual fundraising efforts. Despite the unpredictible spring weather, we still had a fantastic turn out at all the events. I try to shop local whenever possible. A local business cares about and invests in the well-being of their community and its future. One pet supply store that I visit often is Perk Valley Pet Eatery (PVPE). They opened their doors in 2003 and are located at 130 W. Main Street, Trappe, PA. They have helped me countless times with choosing food, treats, supplements and toys for my hounds. They are also very generous to TSBHR!
