This season’s headlining musical is FLASHDANCE. We are the first Northern Irish date on the UK tour which has just begun and we look forward to welcoming this talented cast to our venue in March.

Michael Flatley’s LORD OF THE DANCE: DANGEROUS GAMES is already proving to be as huge a hit in our venue as it has been throughout the global tour. We can’t wait for its arrival in February.

Comedy is, as always, very popular with our patrons and we welcome the ever popular DARA O’BRIAIN for two nights in April. ‘The Blame Game’ favourites headline their own shows in our venue with JAKE O’KANE in January; NEIL DELAMERE in February and COLIN MURPHY in March. DAVID O’DOHERTY joins us in January and William Caulfield is back as OUR JIMMY in February.

We have a wide range of music this season, opening with something special for lovers of classical with the Ulster Orchestra’s VIENNESE CONCERT on 7th January. MOZART BY CANDLELIGHT returns in February, featuring the European Baroque Ensemble and Singers. Multi-platinum selling vocal harmony group, G4, joins us in April.

A number of Irish musical acts feature with HOMEGROWN, THE HIGH KINGS, BAGATELLE, FRANCES BLACK AND KEIRAN GOSS; we also welcome Irish music and dance show AN TURAS. Globally lauded troubadours TOMMY FLEMING and PETER CORRY join us in February.

This season also sees a strong offering for our patrons with THE THREE AMIGOS and DEREK RYAN in January; HUGO DUNCAN and MIKE DENVER in February; DOMINIC KIRWAN and LISA MCHUGH in March and STARS OF COUNTRY in April.

I am delighted to welcome the internationally renowned Royal Moscow Ballet with a new production of ROMEO AND JULIET and look forward to watching the world’s greatest love story brought to life on our stage.

We have drama with Shakespeare’s MACBETH, brought to us by Icarus Theatre in February. There is comedy drama by popular local playwright, Irene Melaugh, in which we catch up with her Derry ladies in the sequel, THE DERRY DUMPED DIVORCEES RIDE AGAIN in January. THE CIRCUS OF HORRORS is back with a new show celebrating the macabre, ‘Voodoo’ this season. Local theatre group, The LMS joins us with an Elvis show, ALL SHOOK UP in March.

We have a fabulous show for children this season when DINOSAUR WORLD makes its debut in this magical foray into the earth of 230 million years ago!

Take a trip down memory lane back to Ireland’s Showband era with all the original stars and relive this unique time in Irish music history. Featuring Dickie Rock (Miami), Muriel Day (Dave Glover Showband), Dermot Hegarty (The Plainsmen), Frankie McBride (The Polka Dots), Gloria (Maurice Lynch Showband & Mississippi), Billy McFarland (Billy McFarland & The Students Showband), John Glenn (The Mainliners & The Wranglers) and Malcolm McDowell singing a special tribute to the Mighty Avons Showband legends, Gene Stuart and Larry Cunningham. Frances Black & Kieran Goss Reunion Tour

Twenty-five years after the smash success of duo Frances Black and Kieran Goss, the popular Irish singers return as part of a nationwide Reunion Tour. Both Frances and Kieran have enjoyed huge international success in their respective solo careers, but it was the inspired pairing of these two unique talents as a duo in the early nineties that first caught the imagination of the Irish public. How Can Life Go On? Holocaust Memorial Day

Northern Ireland Commemorative event to mark the Holocaust and other genocides that occurred. The theme for Holocaust Memorial Day is ‘How Can Life Go On?’ and the event intends to invite the audience to reflect on this theme and consider what happens after genocide and of our own responsibilities in the wake of such a crime. The event will include testimony from a survivor of the Holocaust originally from Czechoslovakia who was just 12 years old when she was sent to the notorious extermination camp, Auschwitz, with her mother, sister and two younger brothers.

Derek Ryan

The ever endearing Jimmy Cricket with his funny hat and his wellies on the wrong feet will be reading his letter from his Mammy and getting up to his shenanigans. The first lady of Irish comedy May McFettridge, fresh from panto, will abuse all and sundry. William Caulfield, who has cruised the world with his stand up show, will regale us with stories of everyday life from home and abroad in his hilarious home grown style. Gene Fitzpatrick, with his wonderfully warm personality making him a master storyteller and king of the one liners, will tell tales of ‘The Vision’, his lovely long suffering wife and many other stories! Macbeth by William Shakespeare

The vicious, barbaric undercurrent in Shakespeare’s most fearfilled tragedy erupts in this blood-thirsty production. Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture is a national contest which encourages young designers in second level education to create striking couture designs and impressive works of wearable art from everyday junk that would normally find its way into the bin. Colin Murphy The Bald Ambition Tour 2018

1992 was an iconic year for Northern Ireland, Crazy Prices was still the best place to buy fruit and veg, Downpatrick indie band Ash formed, and a newly graduated Daniel Craig emerged as an actor. That same year an ambitious blondish man, also from Downpatrick, pursued his dream of becoming a comedian, that man was Colin Murphy. 25 years later, the slightly less blondish Colin Murphy is still hitting the road, this time for his Bald Ambition Tour. Known for his role as resident panelist on the BBC Northern Ireland comedy show, The Blame Game, Colin will be making the humdrum fun on everything from 21st century sex to being pitied by the homeless.

Jake Carter in Concert

The Education Authority Western Region ‘Springfest’ Concert

The EA Western Region Music Service celebrates its sixteenth annual ‘Springfest’ concert bringing together some of the most talented young musicians from throughout the western region in an exciting celebration of music. Glass, hot food or hot drinks are not permitted in the auditorium at any time. There is a strict no smoking policy including E cigarettes.

SUPPORT ACTS: If information on support acts is available the Millennium Forum management will inform customers of these in advance but on occasions this may not be possible.

DEVELOPMENT FEE: The Development Fee is your chance to contribute to the future of the Millennium Forum and to invest in our future development. Every ticket purchased for a show is subject to a small premium of £1.00

COURTESY WHEELCHAIR: The Millennium Forum has a courtesy wheelchair that is available for assisting customers to their seats. However, it cannot be used for the show duration.

CAR PARKING: Foyleside East Car Park is open until 11.30pm Wednesday - Saturday for theatre goers. There are a number of other car parking facilities in the city centre, within a five minute walk from the Forum, such as Whittaker Street Car Park (Just behind Foyle Street and next to the Foyle Street Bus Station), Quayside, Queen’s Quay Car Park, Foyle Road, Foyle Valley Railway Museum, Bishop Street Car Park and Victoria Market Car Park. In total, there are in excess of 2500 off-street car parking spaces in the city centre.
