SUMMARY

On 24 November 2019 at around 4:23 AM, an armed conflict transpired between armed BIFF/ISIS and Philippine Army at Brgy. Pusao, Shariff Saydona Mustapha, Maguindanao which resulted to the displacement of families and individuals in the area. Source: DSWD-FO XII

I. Status of Affected Families / Persons 8,735 families or 43,675 persons were affected by the armed conflict in 13 barangays in Maguindanao (see Table 1).

II. Status of Displaced Families / Persons a. Inside Evacuation Center There are 6,406 families or 32,030 persons currently taking shelter at 20 evacuation centers in Maguindanao (see Table 2).

b. Outside Evacuation Center There are 2,329 families or 11,645 persons temporarily staying with their relatives and/or friends (see Table 3).

IV. Assistance Provided A total of ₱2,260,036.00 worth of assistance was provided to the affected families by DSWD (see Table 5).

SITUATIONAL REPORT

DSWD-DRMB DATE SITUATIONS / ACTIONS UNDERTAKEN  The Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center (DROMIC) 13 December 2019 of the DSWD-DRMB is closely coordinating with DSWD-FO XII for significant reports on the status of affected families, assistance, and relief efforts.

DSWD-FO XII DATE SITUATIONS / ACTIONS UNDERTAKEN  DSWD-FO XII provided 1,968 Family Food Packs to the affected families in Shariff Aguak amounting ₱789,168.00 13 December 2019  DSWD-FO XII provided 668 Family Food Packs to the affected families in Shariff Saydona Mustapha amounting to ₱1,470,868.  DSWD-FO XII conducted validation through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office regarding the occurrence of the said armed conflict in the affected areas in Maguindanao. 10 December 2019  DSWD-FO XII is in close coordination with the Ministry of Social Services of Maguindanao Province for Technical Assistance and Resource Augmentation (TARA).
