DOLPHINS WIN LONGEST GAME IN NFL HISTORY

• As a result of two separate delays due to lightning in the area, Sunday’s official game time of seven hours and eight minutes marks the longest game in NFL history since the merger in 1970, per the Elias Sports Bureau. • The previous longest game in league history was a 2013 Bears-Ravens matchup in Chicago that lasted five hours and 16 minutes. • The first delay came with 1:11 remaining in the second quarter and lasted one hour and 57 minutes. Following the conclusion of the half, both teams remained on the field for a halftime of three minutes and 30 seconds. • The second delay occurred with 6:57 left in the third quarter and halted play for two hours and two minutes. Play resumed again at 6:55 p.m.

TANNEHILL MAKES REGULAR SEASON RETURN

• QB made his first start in a regular season game since Dec. 11, 2016. The Dolphins QB went 20-of- 28 for 230 yards with two and two . • Tannehill’s 75-yard pass to WR in the fourth quarter was the second-longest of his career behind an 80-yard touchdown pass to WR Brian Hartline on Sept. 30, 2012.

GRANT RUNS KICKOFF BACK 102 YARDS

• WR returned a fourth-quarter kickoff 102 yards to regain the Miami lead after Tennessee scored to tie the game at 10. • It marked the first kickoff return for a touchdown of Grant’s career and the second-longest kickoff return in franchise history. It was also the Dolphins’ first kickoff returned for a score since RB ran one back 96 yards against the Jets on Nov. 6, 2016.

DENNEY MAKES 209TH CONSECUTIVE APPEARANCE

• LS John Denney played in his 209th straight regular season game on Sunday and became the NFL leader among active players for consecutive games played. • Denney has appeared in every Dolphins game since signing with Miami as an undrafted free agent in 2005.

• WR Kenny Stills caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from QB Ryan Tannehill just 2:39 into the second quarter for Miami’s first score of the 2018 season. • The touchdown capped off a 98-yard drive, marking the third-longest scoring drive in team history and the longest since Sept. 24, 1989.

• Stills hauled in another touchdown on a 75-yard reception in the fourth quarter, marking the second-longest touchdown catch of his career and his longest in a Dolphins uniform. He recorded his third multi-score game of his career in the effort, with the last coming on Oct. 22, 2017 against the Jets. • His 106 receiving yards on the day were the fourth-most in his career and marked the sixth time he has surpassed 100 receiving yards in a game.

JONES GETS TWO PICKS

• S Reshad Jones recorded two interceptions on Sunday to give him 20 career picks. It marked the first multi- game of Jones’s career. • The last Dolphins player to have two interceptions in a game was CB in a win against New England on Dec. 11, 2017. • The last Dolphins safety to record a pair of picks in a game was Sammy Knight on Dec. 20, 2004 against New England.

GORE EXTENDS LEAD FOR CONSECUTIVE GAMES AND STARTS

• RB Frank Gore extended his consecutive games played streak to 113, the longest active streak by an NFL and 2nd-longest by an active NFL offensive skill player (RB, WR or TE). • With the start, Gore also extended his consecutive games started streak to 109, the longest active streak by an NFL offensive skill player (RB, WR or TE). • Gore finished with nine carries for 61 yards. He is now 15 yards away from surpassing Curtis Martin for fourth place on the NFL all-time rushing list.

DRAKE CARRIES STRONG PLAY INTO 2018

• RB Kenyan Drake finished with 14 carries for 48 yards. Drake was the NFL’s most productive running back in the final five weeks of the 2017 season, netting 444 rushing yards over that span. He now has 492 yards in his past six games.
