The ability to create a mask from the color editor (introduced in 9.0) can now be done on a batch of images. All variants will be masked for that color selection. Selection targeting Multi image editing roundtrip for Helicon Focus The ability to grab what you want from vast arrays of images is a real time saver for any workflow. Round trip in previous versions was limited to one image at a time. In order to properly leverage the workflow in focus stacking, this operation can now be performed on multiple • Select and deselect primary variant images. • Select previous and next “set” • Select by same variant position Depending on your workflow you can leverage two options. • Select from file name list • Create Albums from Selection From RAW captures: Multiple images from the XF focus sequence tool(implemented in 9.1) can now be sent to Select and deselect primary variant is now a menu item that can be shortcut - useful for Helicon Focus software for faster compositing. This is extremely useful for navigating spreads or Alternitively already processed files can be sent to Helicon Focus (e.g. those in a retouched multiple variants in batches. Normal varaint navigation can be made within the selection workflow). In this case you would select the files in the Capture One browser and right click and is great way to see images e.g. 4 up, rate images, then move to the next 4. -> “Open with” to edit in Helicon Focus. Files not supported by Helicon Foucs will not open in this workflow. Select by same variant position allows better segmentation of cloned variants. If a batch of images have been cloned (say to make B+W varaints) and you want to select all of these secondary clones for processing, select one, then right click -> select by -> same variant postion. All varaints with the “2” badge are now selected. Select from file list allows the user to type or copy paste in a list of file names (maybe selected by the client) and then have Capture One select those in the list. List seperators can be chosen for most common scenarios. Once a selection is made, any selection can now be turned into an album. Right click one of the selected images -> create albums from -> selection... 3 Shortcuts Improvements Cursor tools: It is now possible to assign short cuts to any cursor tool. By assigning the same shortcut to cursor tools it is possible to cycle groups of tool tips by holding shift+key. e.g. Assigning “P” to all pickers means you can cycle through sets of tools with shift+P Select Collection: In the edit menu you will find new items which can be shortcut for navigating the Library tool. They have been added to aid productivity when working with a number of collections even if the Library is not currently focused, allowing navigation at any time and in any tab. Typically this is useful for navigating lists of Favourites for fast editing and rating of multiple directories. Preference for disabling Phase One tethered support For industrial customers using Phase One’s SDK to capture, it is now possible to switch off the Capture One driver for Phase One backs (from the prefs menu) in order to use your own implementation. This affects all Phase One products, Leaf Credo and some older OEM Mamiya backs. Better TIFF color consistency in round trip editing When round tripping a Tiff (e.g. to retouch in Photoshop and then back into the Capture One catalog) the colors in the Tiff now match the preview closer than ever. 4 9.2 Bug fixes: Mac Fixed since 9.1.2: • Crash when switching to Heal layer on specific image • Select By Filename List not working in catalogs after renaming image • TIFs for roundtrip are not always automatically added to Session • Problem after importing images into new catalog • Reduced lag in previewing multiple images w/styles • Import with Naming-change persist original name when processing • Filter count broken when sorting by Rating • Migration of new keyboard shortcuts • Crash when saving “Metadata” or “All Other” in Next Capture Adjustments tool • Images imported from 3rd party Catalog do not include changed orientation • Search field ignoring keyboard input • Different buttons on Local adjustments tool • Writelock from same user prevents the app to open a catalog • Deleting a referenced folder collection in a catalog does not delete the contained images • Crash when deleting an item in the metadata inspector tool • New Capture Folder in Favorites no longer works • Mismatch creating / naming sets in the keyboard shortcuts tool. • When navigating in two library tools simultaneously, expand/collapse state is not synced • Process summary gone for selected recipe after restart of CO • Filter search box presets doesn’t replace existing search criteria • Assigning a shortcut to a main menu item may select a cursor tool • Importer - “Open Collection When Import Starts” doesn’t work • Selecting cursor from Live View won’t select the cursor tool • Removing a favourite set as Capture also resets Capture location • Delete keys can be
