Dr. Harold A. Dengerink Background Dr Dengerink has led WSU Vancouver since 1989, serving previously as associate dean of the then-named Appointee Representation WSU College of Sciences and Arts and as director of Task Force Co-Chair the Clinical Psychology Training Program, both in Pullman. He joined the WSU psychology faculty in Current Occupation 1969. Chancellor, WSU Vancouver and Special Assistant to the President Affiliations Dr. Dengerink is active in the Vancouver community, serving currently on the Board of Trustees of Southwest Washington Hospitals and Clark United Providers, the Board of Directors of the Columbia River Economic Development Council (CREDC), and the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Commemorative Committee. He was recently recognized as one of the region‘s 50 great leaders by Business magazine.

Other Accomplishments Dr. Dengerink serves as a catalyst for the university‘s development in the region and forges strong partnerships with local institutions, agencies, and businesses. With his additional appointment to the president, he examines and recommends policy strategies and structural changes to the evolving WSU multi-campus university system.6

During 1999, Henry served as executive vice president, finance and administration, of PacifiCorp while on leave of absence from Stoel Rives.

During his career, Henry has been the principal legal advisor to the boards of directors of , PacifiCorp, , Electro Scientific Industries, Sequent Systems, Medford Corporation and other public and privately owned companies. He is a member of the boards of directors of Cascade Bancorp, Hampton Affiliates, Columbia Forest Products, and PPM Energy, Inc.
