We’ve all been there. Sitting in class, or at a work, and your mind starts wheeling with strange fantasies from the murky depths of your libido. In the music video for their aptly named track “Demon Dance,” Surfer Blood follows a fresh-faced security guard as he daydreams about his encounter with an alluring woman. The song is from Surfer Blood’s second album, Pythons, out on June 11 from Warner Brothers Records. It seems poised as a promising follow-up to Astro Coast, which despite getting recorded in a dorm room, led the band to a successful tour.
