Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn N.Y. 2013-14 Project One-year exhibition-related project. Oversaw the workflow of art handlers, planned and budgeted storage moves and reorganization of collections, while maintaining object safety and location inventories. Duties included; correcting inconsistencies in TMS, recording related research, transporting and handling art and performing technical work, such as preparing storage housings, installation, and deinstallation of artworks for exhibition. Various other duties included transportation of artworks around the museum, working as intermediary between , conservators, and various members of departments to facilitate research, conservation, and exhibition. Howard Stein Private Art Collection, N.Y.C. 2008-2011 Art Collection Manager Exclusively responsible for the maintenance and management of an art collection containing over 10,000 objects, primarily photographic works but also including masterworks on canvas, paper, glass and in bronze. Handled installations, deinstallations and other curatorial tasks for private collection within apartments in the Pulitzer Mansion. Assisted in a warehouse transfer 10,000 works of art, and all related inventories and database updates, as well as the implementation of a 3,000 sq. foot storage vault. Agnes Gund Art Collection, N.Y.C. 2004-07 Curatorial Assistant Curatorial assistant to the collection of the President Emerita of the Museum of Modern Art. Responsibilities included: art handling, establishing numerical systems, condition reports, gallery and artist’s studio correspondence, database and records management, catalogue form design, registrarial duties, photography, and production of collection catalogue. Assisted in preparation of slide presentations and lectures, and maintenance of extensive art library and artists files. Worked closely with a variety of household staff, office workers, and numerous family members. Played a key role in the management the art collection during comprehensive renovation of Ms. Gund's vast New York City apartment, the removal and safe keeping of numerous and varied works, and their reinstallation in the redesigned space.
