They both pass four phases: introduction, growth, maturity and decline. With every phase in the life cycle, other opportunities and threats occur. Every phase is different and will shape the industry in a different way. Mostly, companies within an industry tend to copy each other’s successful behaviour, which makes them more alike as the industry matures. The process of organisations be- coming more and more similar is called isomorphism. Isomorphism mostly results in an oligopoly. To survive an industry, organisations must take four key themes into account: customers, innovation, corporate identity and finance. I have coordinated our reply with the MVRPS and project team. The following is a listing of your questions and our responses. GENERAL 1. What aspects of Option B, phase 1 of the Master Plan are still relevant to this project? Response: The plans submitted for your review under the amended DRI include the following scope of work: Field #1: A new 400m running track, multi-purpose synthetic turf field, sports lighting, pedestrian lighting, grandstands, press box, field house, walkways, parking, and associated site improvements. Field #2: Renovated natural grass multi-purpose field with improved irrigation, topsoil, drainage, and modified grading. The work also includes minor adjustments to the adjacent walkway. Please refer to the plan set entitled Athletic Field Improvements – Phase One, dated January 22, 2020, prepared by Huntress Associates, Inc. and the updated sheets L2, L3, L3.1, & L13 dated 4/28/20 for additional information. 2. Huize Aarde, [email protected] Photo: Regge Survival Swimming in the Vecht(e) watershed is of all times Swimming in running surface waters is of all times, also in the Vecht(e) watershed. After the surface water became increasingly dirty in the fifties, swimming pools were constructed as hygiene measures. Now that water seems to become clean again, this habit returns. Wild swimming - central questions (a) Which running surface waters in the region are most used? (b) What is known about the water quality at these places? (c) How many people may be at increased risk to their health as a result? The water quality in the areas where people swim is not well known. They aren’t official swimming sites, so water quality is not well monitored. People use these places “at their own risk”, but it is unclear what the risks are. The research questions that emerged were: a) which uncontrolled surface waters are being used for recreation in the region; c) what is known about water quality at these places; and d) how many people may be at risk to their health? Methodology Step 1) Localization and mapping Step 2) Field visits Step 3) Interviews Step 4) Assessment Step 5) Interpretation In order to answer these questions in the whole Vechte area an inventory was made and possible swimming sites where mapped with the use of Google, Google Maps and social media.
