Around the same time, a group of ladies from a Bible study group contacted the school. The group raised money on behalf of a dear friend Barbara Walton who died in 2018 after a long battle with cancer. Walton was a former reading teach- er at Frazier who had substituted for many years prior to her Fred Flickinger 2003-2013 classroom teaching position. The Bible study group decided to donate money toward a project to honor Walton’s Fred Flickinger love for teaching children and her years of service to Frazier.
