Satanic Crime: a Threat in the New Millennium Satanic Crime: A Threat in the New Millennium For several decades mainstream media outlets have been hesitant to report crimes which involve Satanism. When such incidents do receive coverage the diabolical aspects of the story are hardly touched upon and tend to never be followed up with further investigation. Satanic Crime is the first book to pull many of these under-reported stories together and offers a birds-eye-view of Devil Worshipers who commit murders. This is also the first study to examine the links between elite Luciferian secret societies and Satanic serial killers. Case studies include; Charles Manson, “Son of Sam” David Berkowitz, “Night Stalker” Richard Ramirez, Satanic killer Ricky Kasso, “Norway’s Wolfman” Varg Vikernes, Joe Fiorella who committed an act of ritual necrophilia, Columbine killers Harris and Kleobold, “Angel of Death” Jeff Weise, Rodrigo Orias who decapitated a Catholic priest for Lucifer, Andrea Volpe who ritually murdered a girl who he saw as a personification of the Virgin Mary. Links between the Skull and Bones Society, Bohemian Grove and White House “journalist” Jeff Gannon are investigated as well as the connection between the Bilderberg Group and Belgium’s Satanic child pornographer Marc Dutroux. Bonus Features: Access to the Satanic Crime Multimedia Section with hours of free film documentaries and audios related to the Satanic case studies. Solidly documented from published sources, Satanic Crime answers the questions: “Why does the mainstream media avoid reporting on Satanism?” “What association do major world leaders have with Devil Worship?” Be prepared for the Shock of your Life! Mystic Valley Media Special Announcement! The artists Jesse Bercowetz and Matt Bua chose William H. Kennedy’s work for their exhibition Things Got Legs which ran at the Derek Eller Gallery in NYC September 7 - October 14, 2006. The theme of the exhibit focused on contemporary society’s fascination with conspiracies and included book covers and sound recordings from Alexandra Chica Bruce, Peter Levenda, David McGowan, Uri Geller and Don Paul. William H. Kennedy’s two book covers from Lucifer’s Lodge: Satanic Ritual Abuse in the Catholic Church (2004) and Satanic Crime: A Threat in the New Millennium (2006) were included in the exhibit as well as specially recorded excerpts of W.H.K. describing modern Satanism. Adam Scott Miller - the artist who designed the cover for Satanic Crime - has won a prestigious scholarship for an MFA from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Adam was selected from 1000s of applicants from around the world for this three-year program. I am absolutely certain that Adam would have won the scholarship even if I did not commission this work; I am pleased that he used the cover in the portfolio he submitted to win the scholarship. I plan to commission Adam for more covers for Mystic Valley Media books because I feel he is, without a doubt, the greatest “gothedelic” artist on the planet! William H. Kennedy “Hearty Congratulations to Adam! An excellent cover for an excellent book.” Brad Steiger About the Author William H. Kennedy (b. 1964) is a writer and speaker on religious topics. To this end, a provisional definition of Satanism is necessary. Satanism may be defined as a belief system which seeks to venerate the Fallen Angel Lucifer, either as a metaphysical being or as a metaphor. That some Satanists see the Devil purely as a symbol while others as a genuine spiritual entity turns out to be irrelevant when considering the underlying theology and long-term goals of this movement. Although many factors contributed to the growth of this diabolical belief system over the centuries, the contemporary movement can be traced to the activities of one individual who gave shape to the modern world of Satanism. Aleister Crowley: The Godfather of Modern Satanism In any discussion of contemporary Satanism, the figure of Aleister Crowley (1875- 1947) looms like a mafia Godfather over a shadowy underworld. Crowley (rhymes with “holy”) is the single most influential character in the formation of modern Satanism and Witchcraft (Wicca). Born into a wealthy family who were the sole owners of a brewery and pub chain, Crowley resented the stern Christian upbringing and harsh Victorian morals inflicted upon him in his native Britain. (1) Crowley enrolled at Cambridge University but never graduated, having instead chosen to embark upon a period of self-examination and the study of occult doctrine. It should be noted that Crowley was a world-class mountain climber and a minor celebrity as a young man. However, the majority of his time was spent on the study of ritual magic and mystical practices. Much of this esoteric exploration was Satanic in nature, despite claims to the contrary by Crowley’s contemporary followers. In his quest for spiritual enlightenment, Crowley used drugs with meditative practices and sex rituals to form a system of sex-magick. (Crowley used the alternative spelling magick to distinguish his metaphysical teachings from stage magic.) Within this system, devotees claim that drugs, visualization, and the frenzy of sex cause them to merge with their chosen deity. In one ritual which Crowley undertook early in his career, he identified himself as Jesus Christ. In fact, the most popular photograph of Crowley shows him postured like Christ on the Cross. (2) Crowley’s mock crucifixion mimics Lucifer’s rebellion, which is recounted in Isaiah Chapter 14. It constitutes a reenactment of the Fallen Angel’s attempt to invert Heaven and be worshiped as God. It is a ceremonial imitation of Lucifer’s mutiny 2 Satanic Crime and represents a mini-victory

1 THIS ISN’T PARADISE, THIS IS HELL: DISCOURSE, PERFORMANCE AND IDENTITY IN THE HAWAI‘I METAL SCENE A DISSERTATION SUBMITTED TO THE GRADUATE DIVISION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAI‘I AT MĀNOA IN PARTIAL FULFILLMENT OF THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DEGREE OF DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN AMERICAN STUDIES DECEMBER 2012 By Benjamin Hedge Olson Dissertation Committee: Kathleen Sands, Chairperson David E. Stannard Vernadette Gonzalez Roderick Labrador Helen J. Baroni Keywords: metal, popular music, popular culture, religion, subculture, Hawai‘i 2 Abstract The island of Oahu is home to probably the most ethnically diverse metal scene in the United States. Contemporary Hawai`i prides itself on being a “model of multiculturalism” free of the racism and ethnic strife that is endemic to the continent; however, beneath this superficial openness and tolerance exist deeply felt class, ethnic, and racial tensions. The metal scene in Hawai`i experiences these conflicting impulses towards inclusion and exclusion as profoundly as any other aspect of contemporary Hawaiian culture, but there is a persistent hope within the metal scene that subcultural identity can triumph over such tensions. Complicating this process is the presence of white military personnel, primarily born and raised on the continental United States, whose cultural attitudes, performances of masculinity, and conception of metal culture differ greatly from that of local metalheads. The misunderstandings, hostilities, bids for subcultural capital, and attempted bridge-building that take place between metalheads in Hawai‘i constitute a subculturally specific attempt to address anxieties concerning the presence of the military, the history of race and racism in Hawai`i, and the complicated, often conflicting desires for both openness and exclusivity that exist within local culture.

  • The Satanic Bible Anton Szandor Lavey
Called “The Black Pope” by many of his followers, Anton LaVey began the road to High Priesthood of the Church of Satan when he was only 16 years old and an organ player in a carnival: “On Saturday night I would see men lusting after half‐naked girls dancing at the carnival, and on Sunday morning when I was playing the organ for tent‐show evangelists at the other end of the carnival lot, I would see these same men sitting in the pews with their wives and children, asking God to forgive them and purge them of carnal desires. And the next Saturday night they’d be back at the carnival or some other place of indulgence. “I knew then that the Christian Church thrives on hypocrisy, and that man’s carnal nature will out!” From that time early in his life his path was clear. Finally, on the last night of April, 1966– Walpurgisnacht, the most important festival of the believers in witchcraft–LaVey shaved his head in the tradition of ancient executioners and announced the formation of The Church Of Satan. He had seen the need for a church that would recapture man’s body and his carnal desires as objects of celebration. “Since worship of fleshly things produces pleasure,” he said, “there would then be a temple of glorious indulgence. .” The Satanic Bible Anton Szandor LaVey For Diane Dedications To: Bernadino Logara, who knew the value of money Karl Haushofer, a teacher without a classroom Rasputin, who knew the magic of a child Sir Basil Zaharoff, a gentleman Cagliostro, a rogue Barnabas Saul, the link with Mount Lalesh Ragnar Redbeard, whose might is right William Mortensen, who looked .

  • The Satanists
Introduction Does the name Aleister Crowley mean anything to you? Have you ever heard of the ancient Egyptian god Set? The Golden Dawn? The Ordo Templi Orientis? Have you read the writings of J. K. Huysmans? Anton LaVey? Howard Phillips Lovecraft? Do you know what the Necronomicon is? If you answered "no" to most of those questions, you're in the same position as I was in the summer of 1978, when I had my first real encounter with occultism in the person of Michael Aquino, founder of the satanic sect known as the Temple of Set. At the time, I knew virtually nothing about the occult or its subculture and had no interest in learning more. Yet, disarmed by my own naivete, I fell in love with a satanist—and saw the life I knew destroyed as a result. Like myself, most people who are grappling with issues related to satanism, ritual abuse, and the like came across the problem unexpectedly. Police officers investigating cases of vandalism by Satan-obsessed teenagers, therapists whose pa- tients disclose ritualized abuse, and journalists covering sto- ries of occult-related crime have all found themselves suddenly thrust into contact with a bizarre sort of parallel universe. How well they learn to understand the rules that l govern this alien world determines how effectively they are able to deal with it. In many ways, my experience was identical to that of other victims of the hundreds of manipulative, controlling organizations commonly referred to as cults. Frequently, peo- ple become entangled in cults because a friend, relative, or spouse is a member.

  • A Symbolic Analysis of Ritualistic Crime: the Forensics of Sacrifice 1
Abstract : Ritual murder includes a wide variety of both sacred and secular acts committed by groups and individuals and is most often attributed to practitioners of occult ideologies such as Satanism, Palo Mayombe, Santeria, and other magical traditions, or to serial killers and sexual sadists who ritually murder their victims. Due to many legal, practical, and ethical controversies the study of contemporary religious violence is in its infancy. There have been no serious empirical studies of ritualistic crimes or classifications that adequately distinguish between ritual homicides committed for sacred versus secular motivations.
