Expos Americas, set to take place at Union Station on September 15 and 16, is billed as one of the biggest Hispanic cultural events to be held in Kansas City. The Expo will coincide with Hispanic Heritage Month and will be a wide ranging celebration of all things Latino. Fiesta Hispana Celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month Hundreds of Fiesta Hispana fans came out for this year’s celebration at Berkely Riverfront Park in Kansas City, Missouri. It was the first time the event was held at the park. Dave Tinoco, president of Hispanic Heritage, told Hispanic News that members were thrilled by the large crowd that came out in support of their efforts. Local and national musicians and dancers, played music and enjoyed the great food along with the great weekend weather. Tinoco hopes that the fiesta will be back next year at the same location.
