Westlake Pictograms were created to help people – especially those University Street who don’t read or write English — to easily identify Link DOWNTOWN light rail stations. PioneerSEATTLE Square The idea was to create a symbol for each community where a light International Distict rail station is located. The symbol is a unique constellation. Stars Stadium in the constellation reflect points of interest around the station and BEACON HILL the community. The pictograms will be used on station signs, maps SODO SODO and handouts.
