Now the Fighting Scots will open 2017 with another challenge at 10:00 a.m. Pigtail Round hand, competing in the Southern Scuffle. Set for January 1 & 2 in Chattanooga, Tenn., the Southern 10:45 a.m. Championship Round of 32 1:30 p.m.* Consolation First Round Scuffle once again features some of the top Division I teams and wrestlers in the country. A total of 2:15 p.m.* Championship Round of 16 eight teams ranked in InterMat’s Tournament rankings, with 69 wrestlers in the individual top 20 in 4:00 p.m.* Consolation Second Round their respective weight classes. The tournament also features numerous outstanding wrestlers who 5:45 p.m.* Consolation Third Round are redshirting this season. 7:30 p.m. Championship Quarterfinals } A regular participant in the Southern Scuffle in its opening years, Edinboro had not appeared in the Consolation Fourth Round Monday, January 2 holiday tournament since 2010 before returning last year. Edinboro has enjoyed great success previously at the 12 noon Championship Semifinals Southern Scuffle, including top five finishes from 2003 to 2009. Consolation Quarterfinals } The Fighting Scots won their sixth straight PSAC Championship and 11th in the last 12 years in Decem‐ 2:00 p.m.* Consolation Semifinals ber. Edinboro finished with 156.5 points in the 12‐team field, with Lock Haven the next closest competitor 7:00 p.m. Championship Finals with 132 points. Edinboro had seven wrestlers reach the finals, and five came away with titles. Chase Delande (165 lbs.) and Billy Miller (hwt.) came in second, with Fritz Hoehn (165 lbs.) and Dylan Reynolds (197 lbs.) fourth, and Ozzy Lugo (141 lbs.) fifth.
